Political Climate

Change has come to a certain degree. President-elect Joe Biden and his vice-president Kamala Harris, are in office to restore, revive and heal our country and relationships around the world. These past four years under the Trump administration has been like a toxic cancer spreading from one community to another. There are no other explanations except the facts that many people died under his administration over (219,372) to date as of this writing due to the Corona virus.

Even though he did several others things that were beneficial for some Americans, his child-like behaviors overshadowed his accomplishments. The days leading up to the decisive decision to have the necessary votes are historical indeed. For many of us who were watching and waiting for the media to report and announce a winner; the results has brought peace to some and a sense of happiness to others in this diverse population.

The reality of all of this is we need to pray for our political leaders. There will never be total change until the Savior of the world comes back. In the meantime, one thing each of us can do, is our own part to make America a great place to live, move and have our being. As current leaders get ready to exit the White House; a new era begins. The speech President-elect Joe Biden shared this past week is one of hope and healing.

The scriptures are clear and to be believed and lived out. “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.” II Chronicles 7:14. Based on the tone of Joe Biden; there seems to be no wickedness, and it sounds as if he has more than enough compassion, empathy and a God conscience awareness to do the right thing.

The world is brutal and is filled with all kinds of tribulations, but it is also a place for all of us to contribute to society and to help one another; making the world a better place to live. Whether or not you are a man or woman of faith according to the Bible; there is a measure of faith to all who believe in God. As a man or woman of faith and whatever calling is on our individual lives; it is our responsibility to do what is right and within our power to do so. The voting process is a prime example of being together on one accord for the betterment of the country. Let’s us all use this momentum as a message to change and shape the world in this political climate. It first starts with a will and a desire to let God use you for His glory. “He who glories, let him glory in the Lord.” I Corinthians 1:31.
