Strictly Come Dancing 2022 LIVE — Emotional Will Mellor & Helen Skelton top leaderboard as star makes dazzling return

STRICTLY’s Will Mellor stunned the judges this evening with an emotional performance from Miss Saigon, while Kym Marsh made a dazzling comeback from Covid-19.

The soap star bagged a staggering 39 out of 40 and was pictured holding back tears as the judges read out his scores.

Anton Du Beke was left emotional as he watched Will dance his heart out.

Helen Skelton also stunned the judges with her performance, earning the same score as Will.

Meanwhile, Kym Marsh returned from a week off with Covid-19, and impressed the judges, earning a score of 34/40.

    A POP legend has been revealed as the fifth person to sign up for the Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special.

    Girls Aloud singer Nicola Roberts will take the stage for the ballroom in an attempt to be crowned this year’s festive champion.

    Nicola said: “It’s truly an honour to be part of Strictly, but to be invited on to the prestigious Christmas day episode is something very special indeed.

    “They’ve promised me extra glitter, sparkle and frosting all wrapped
    up together with a big bow on top. What more could a girl wish for?”

    Nicola is amongst six celeb contestants who will be grooving away for the BBC special, and will be paired with Giovanni Pernice.

    “I have got lots to be thankful for and I know what I can offer. This dance is all about that, it’s all about power.”

    Anton added: “You’re a great jazz dancer. Your performance and timing are amazing.”

    The actress got the 80s outfit spot on!

    She sported a leotard, purple tights and black legwarmers.

    Craig was forced to comment on Kym’s figure, saying she has a “body of a 20-year-old”.

    Kym takes to the dancefloor with a Cha Cha Cha after missing last week’s show after being struck down with Covid.
