Pro-Vaccine Scientist Refuses to Debate RFK Jr, Despite $1.5 Million in Charity Donations

Pro-vaccine scientist Dr. Peter Hotez is refusing to accept the challenge to debate vaccination critic Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the subject of Big Pharma shots.

Hotez is refusing to debate RFK Jr. despite over $1.5 million being pledged to the charity of the winner’s choice from several influential figures.

In April 2020, Hotez appeared on Joe Rogan’s hit podcast show.

During his appearance, he trashed Kennedy, now a 2024 Democrat presidential candidate, over his anti-vax views.

When Rogan suggested he should debate RFK Jr., Hotez declined and claimed it would make him “uncomfortable.”

After Kennedy appeared on Rogan’s show last week, Hotez took to Twitter to smear the podcaster for spreading “vaccine misinformation” and “nonsense.”

Rogan then laid down the gauntlet by offering to donate $100,000 to charity if Hotez would debate RFK Jr.

Kennedy responded by noting that “the American people deserve” to hear both sides of the argument.

When Kennedy appeared on Rogan’s show, he said he’s offered to debate Hotez and others but they all refuse.

Kennedy argued that Hotez can’t debate anyone because his “science is just made up” and “he cannot stand by it.”

After Rogan offered to make a big donation to charity to support the debate, others also joined in.

Investor Bill Ackman added $150,000 to Rogan’s wager.

Several other influential figures offered to donate to charity, with journalist Tim Pool adding another $100,000 to the pot, bringing the total up to $1.52 million.

Left-wing Atlantic journalist Tom Nichols tried to defend Hotez by arguing that he shouldn’t debate Kennedy.

“No medical professional should ever agree to do this. Never,” Nichols said.

“It elevates the conspiracy guy, demeans the medical professional, and will only convince the kooks out there that RFK is right because a real doctor took the time to debate him.”

“Never debate a conspiracy theorist,” Nichols added.

Rogan fired back and shredded Nichols over the comments, however.

“That would be a great suggestion if you could assure that the industry you were representing wasn’t completely captured by heartless monsters who have a history of some of the biggest criminal fines in human history because their deception has cost hundreds of thousands of people their lives,” Rogan shot back.

“It would be a great suggestion if the industry you were defending didn’t occasionally look at human beings as an opportunity to generate insane wealth regardless of the tragic consequences.

“But you can’t do that, so… maybe it would be a good idea to have a f**king debate.”

Hotez is best known for aggressively promoting vaccines in the corporate media.

As Slay News reported in December, Hotez worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) to promote pro-vaxx propaganda on social media.

In a video pushed by the WHO, Hotez labeled unvaccinated people a “major killing force globally.”
