Portable, Halima Abubakar, Seun Egbegbe, Oge Okoye, and other Nigerian celebrities have once been accused of stealing.

Celebrities may steal for a variety of reasons, some out of pure frivolity and others simply to make a point.

Celebrities who have been caught stealing are listed below…

1. Oge Okoye

In 2017, popular Nollywood actress, Oge Okoye was called out on Instagram for stealing American dogs which belong to TV star, Kenya Moore. After the call out, the actress hurriedly deleted the pictures she captioned “‘Yiipeeee!!! My new babies just arrived #Rob#Roby.’

Keya Moore’s fan page later took to their timeline to call her out. After sharing the above proof, it wrote: “one Nigerian Actress took a screen shot of king and twirl from Kenyas page and she’s claiming them as hers. Peep Kenyas Range Rover logo on the floor mat This lady is an actual verified user too REPORT! #FRAUDULENT”. Oge Okoye took to her page to disable comments after the call out.

2. Seun Egbegbe the popular iPhone thief

Seun Egbegbe is a popular Yoruba movie producer and marketer.

For over 36 months now, the talented Nollywood film maker and producer has been in jail over theft of iPhones. This is coming after he failed to meet the 5 million Naira bail granted him by the federal high court in Lagos.

3. Rosy Meurer

An American lady, @laide4192 called out Actress Rosy Meurer in 2017 for allegedly stealing her ‘Write up’ Without giving due Credit. “Stop Showing your stupidity on Social media ” the lady wrote.

4. Halima Abubakar

An American woman took to her Instagram handle @the_arielb to call out actress Halima Abubakar for stealing her baby pictures to announce her own pregnancy. She confronted the actress in her Instagram direct message, asking why she used her baby’s picture as her own. Abubakar told the woman that she only used the picture after she googled baby pictures and it came up. She said she also had a baby and she wanted to announce his arrival. The actress added that she never said the baby in the picture was her own and she apologised to the woman. Abubakar also promised to delete the picture from her page.

5. Portable

A video showing where Portable was beaten and stripped unclad was recently shared online. Portable was accused of stealing phone and “keke.” In the video, the “Za zoo” crooner was seen crying as he was stripped completely naked.

6. Tunde Ednut

According to Kemi Olunloyo, the singer turned blogger used to reside in the UK until he was arrested for stealing an iPhone device. Tunde Ednut allegedly spent time in jail before getting deported to Nigeria.
