Helen Skelton’s estranged husband Richie Myler is reportedly expecting a baby with his new girlfriend Stephanie Thirkill mere months after they ended their marriage.
The presenter, who is currently appearing on Strictly Come Dancing, was reportedly told of the news before Stephanie announced it on social media, and the former couple are maintaining ‘cordial relations.’
Richie ended his eight year marriage to Helen, 39, back in April, just four months after she gave birth to their third child, and quickly moved on with Stephanie, 32.

A source told The Sun that Stephanie and Richie are ‘thrilled’ to be expecting their first child, just six months after their relationship came to light.
They added: ‘Stephanie and Richie are obviously thrilled. They have moved very quickly but are extremely happy together.
‘The timing of the pregnancy may raise a few eyebrows though. It is obviously such a huge step, and one made remarkably quickly off the back of Helen and Richie’s eight-year marriage ending.
‘But Richie and Helen maintain cordial relations, and in a way the timing is actually perfect as Helen is so happy at the moment.’

The source added that Helen is ‘far too busy’ focusing on her training and rehearsals for Strictly.
It’s thought that Stephanie is already displaying a noticeable bump on social media.

Stephanie is the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew Thirkill, who is one of the richest businessmen in Leeds and is worth an estimated £175 million.
Richie shares two young sons Ernie, six, Louis, five, and daughter Elsie Kate, eight months, with his estranged wife Helen.

Last month Stephanie shared a gushing tribute to Richie on her Instagram Stories, which he then reposted.
She wrote: ‘Wasn’t a win but couldn’t be more proud of this one. Grand Final at Old Trafford and a great game for you. Love you so much @richiemyler,’ to which he added: ‘Love you.’
Posting a picture of himself and Stephanie with her family to his Instagram Stories, Richie also gushed wrote: ‘Finished this season as a family,’ and drew a heart.
Richie made his relationship with Stephanie Instagram official when they attended Wimbledon together in July.
His relationship with Stephanie came to light in May, days after it was announced that his eight-year marriage to Helen was over.
Helen was said to feel ‘bewildered’ by the breakdown of her marriage, with a source close to the couple telling MailOnline: ‘Helen is absolutely devastated.’
They continued: ‘Now she is contemplating life without him while he has moved on with his new partner.’
‘Richie is insisting there was no crossover, that he began the romance with Stephanie after their marriage collapsed, but Helen feels let down. They are still married, and their baby is literally four months old.

Former Blue Peter star Helen confirmed their breakup on Instagram, writing: ‘Very sad to say that Richie and I are no longer a couple. He has left the family home. We will be doing our best to co-parent our small children.’
Meanwhile Strictly viewers have been urging Helen to ‘make her ex-husband jealous’ after her first three weeks of sizzling dance routines on the hit show.
The TV presenter, 39, looked incredible in a sequin blue dress as she took to the dancefloor with her partner Gorka Marquez and Cha Cha’d to Rain On Me for her second dance.
And following her second performance, viewers are urging her to channel her energy into winning the show to make Richie jealous and ‘get even’.

A TV insider said: ‘It would be virtually impossible for Helen not to have notice the huge wave of support she’s received from people online.
‘They are enjoying her showing her ex what he’s missing and encouraging her to go all the way in the ultimate act of revenge.
‘It will come as a huge boost to her in a year which must have felt to her like she was trapped in the plot of a movie herself.’
A source close to Miss Skelton told the Daily Mail when she was first linked to Strictly that it was ‘quite the opposite of the Strictly curse. Helen has already lost the love of her life, now she wants to find a new one’.
‘She cannot wait to get stuck into it all, she has been through the most difficult of times, so this is going to open so many doors for her.
‘She is going to make the best of this, and enjoy it.’
