Brian Laundrie update – Gabby Petito fiance still not found as Dog the Bounty Hunter says he wants to speak to his dad

DOG the Bounty Hunter says he wants to speak to missing Brian Laundrie’s father – and insists that parents know “50 percent of the time” where their kids are.

Dog, real name Duane Chapman, told Dr Oz in an interview on Tuesday that typically, parents insist they don’t know where their children are after being accused of a crime.

“And after, they say, ‘Dog, I couldn’t, I knew,'” Chapman said.

He also told Dr Oz that around “50 percent of the time” parents know where their children are.

Another “35 percent of the parents help,” Dog said, adding he hopes the Laundrie family will fall into that number.

  • DOG THE BOUNTY HUNTER FINDS FRESH MAKESHIFT CAMPSITE

Dog the Bounty Hunter and a crew of K-9s have discovered a fresh makeshift campsite in the manhunt for Brian Laundrie near the park where the missing fugitive had camped with his parents weeks ago.

Duane “Dog” Chapman and his team sniffed out a fresh Monster Energy Ultra Gold can at the site deep in the woods of Shell Island off the coast of Florida near Fort De Soto Park.

It emerged earlier on Wednesday that Laundrie had stayed the night at the park with his parents – just days after returning alone from his cross-country trip with fiance Gabby Petito.

The Monster drink appeared to show no signs of no rust or faded colors suggesting it had just recently been discarded, according to Fox News.

The find has not been confirmed to be Laundrie’s.

  • BRIAN LAUNDRIE ‘MAY BE IN BAHAMAS’ (continued)

Now internet users are getting in on the possible sightings for Laundrie, with one user claiming he left with the help of his parents.

“Someone said as long as he showed his vaccination card he can get on Boat from Florida to go to Bahamas!” said another user.

The ferry schedule for the Fort Lauderdale – Freeport boat runs once a week for a two-and-a-half-hour sailing time.

Still, although there is no evidence to suggest Laundrie may have left the country, plenty of internet sleuths are urging authorities to check neighboring nations for Laundrie.

  • BRIAN LAUNDRIE ‘MAY BE IN BAHAMAS’

Internet sleuths believe Brian Laundrie might already be in the Bahamas, claiming he might have had help leaving Florida in a boat and could have been spotted in the island nation.

A new theory is quickly going viral detailing how Laundrie may have fled the country by boat, saying it isn’t at all that difficult to leave the United States and pointing to both the FBI’s and bounty hunters’ difficulty in locating him.

Although there is no evidence suggesting Laundrie is indeed in the Bahamas, “In Pursuit with John Walsh” legendary victims’ rights advocate John Walsh claims the Bahamas is one of several likely hiding places for Laundrie.

Many claim Walsh’s hypothesis was a “credible lead” for Laundrie’s possible escape.

The other likely places include Mexico or the Appalachian trail, where Laundrie and Petito celebrated Petito’s 22nd birthday.

YouTube tarot reader Skye Leigh claimed Laundrie could be in the Bahamas with an “older female” who helped pay for his escape.

  • EXPERT DOESN’T THINK LAUNDRIE IS STILL IN RESERVE

Experienced rancher Alan McEwen has cast doubt that Laundrie is hiding in the vast Carlton Reserve.

He told Fox News: “Unless he’s got a butt like a duck and can float, he’s not in there.”

“I’ve been in the woods in and out all my life. I have learned a lot in my life, and one thing I know is no one is gonna survive out there for two weeks on foot.”

  • LAUNDRIE IN COUPLE’S SELFIE?

Brian Laundrie might have been pictured in a couple’s selfie at a Florida campsite 75 miles from his home, days before Gabby Petito was reported missing.

A couple from Fort Myers alleges they camped next to the family at the park.

A man can be seen walking through the park grounds in the background of their family selfie.

It’s not known if Laundrie is in the photograph.

  • NEW STATEMENT FROM BRIAN’S PARENTS

On Monday, Brian’s parents released a new statement through their attorney to address rumors about their knowledge of his whereabouts.

It reads: “Chris and Roberta Laundrie do not know where Brian is. They are concerned about Brian and hope the FBI can locate him.

“The speculation by the public and some in the press that the parents assisted Brian in leaving the family home or in avoiding arrest on a warrant that was issued after Brian had already been missing for several days is just wrong.”

  • INSIDE THE MOTEL WHERE LAUNDRIE STAYED AFTER FIGHT

Gabby Petito’s fiancé Brian Laundrie stayed in a $78-a-night motel after police stopped them following a domestic violence call, it has been revealed.

Staff at the Bowen Motel in Moab, Utah, confirmed the 23-year-old had stayed at the accommodation after police drove him there on August 12.

Bowen Motel confirmed staff have been co-operating with the police’s investigation into Gabby’s killing.

Laundrie was taken to the motel after Moab police decided not file any charges and instead separated the couple for the night following the roadside stop.

Bodycam shows that Gabby’s fiancé told police he could not afford a hotel for the night.

Mannies told the New York Post that he saw a man who resembled Laundrie sitting alone at Bullwinkle’s Saloon in West Yellowstone on August 26, the day before Gabby Petito was last seen alive.

  • WHAT DID BRIAN LAUNDRIE’S PARENTS SAY WHEN GABBY WAS MISSING?

On September 14, 2021, the Laundries issued a statement through their lawyer regarding the case.

They said at the time: “This is an extremely difficult time for both the Petito family and the Laundrie family.”

“I understand that a search has been organized for Miss Petito in or near Grand Teton National Park in Wyoming. On behalf of the Laundrie family it is our hope that the search for Miss Petito is successful and that Miss Petito is re-united with her family.”

“On the advice of counsel the Laundrie family is remaining in the background at this juncture and will have no further comment.”

Cops had previously left a note on Laundrie’s car, which was found by his family Wednesday and had been parked near the Carlton Reserve in Sarasota County, according to the family’s attorney Steven Bertolino.

The note had requested the car be removed, but the family left the vehicle there until Thursday, hoping he’d return to it, Bertolino previously told the New York Post.
