He applied at the tech giant — Google not once or twice but 39 times.

He has shared screenshots of all his email communications with Google, and the last one was on July 19 when he landed the job.

Cohen lives in San Francisco in the US and worked as Associate Manager – Strategy & Ops at DoorDash before being offered the position by Google.

In his trail of letters, to and from Google, it is seen that he applied to Google for the first time on August 25, 2019.

However, he was rejected.

Then, he applied twice in September 2019. He was rejected twice.

He took a break and proceeded to apply again in June 2020 during the pandemic but was always rejected until July 19, 2022 when he was selected by the top employers. His Linkedin post is now viral

“There’s a fine line between persistence and insanity. I’m still trying to figure out which one I have. 39 rejections, 1 acceptance,” he said in a brief LinkedIn post, which is now going viral.

The guy has added creative hashtags like #acceptedoffer, #application, etc. Nearly 35,000 people liked the post, and nearly 800 users have commented on it.
