The Traitors finalists REVEALED! Hannah, Arron and Meryl battle it out with traitors Wilf and Kieran
The Traitors revealed their finalists during Wednesday night’s penultimate episode that saw faithful Maddy Smedley banished from the castle.
The 29-year-old receptionist, who recently confessed that she was a former EastEnders actress, was eliminated from the game after racking up votes from all her fellow players.
Maddy’s exit left faithfuls Hannah Byczkowski, Aaron Evans and Meryl William batting against secret traitors Wilf Webster and Keiran Tompsett for the £82K prize in Thursday’s nail-biting final.
The Traitors finalists revealed! Faithful’s Hannah, Arron and Meryl will go-head-to-head with traitors Wilf and Kieran for the £82K prize in the smash hit show’s nail-biting finale
The show sees contestants sign up before a small number of players are secretly selected by Claudia Winkleman to be The Traitors. The rest of the players are known as ‘The Faithful’ and none of The Faithful know who The Traitors are.
Players are then eliminated when The Traitors meet in secret and decide to ‘murder’ one of The Faithful. The next morning, when the group meet for breakfast, the ‘murdered’ player does not appear.
Later in the day, all the players then have to meet at the ‘Round Table’ and ‘banish’ the player they suspect of being a Traitor.

Who are the The Traitors finalists?
Wilf, 28 – Traitor
Occupation: Senior Fundraiser
Will from North London shocked viewers when he sensationally turned on fellow traitor Amanda Lovett, leading to her banishment from the castle.
Speaking about his shock at reaching the final undiscovered he said: ‘It’s very surreal, I didn’t think I’d get this far at one point. When all the fingers were pointing at me, I never thought I’d make it this far’
However he admitted the taking on the role hasn’t been easy and it’s ‘backstabbing’ his new friends had been a ‘struggle’.
‘I really didn’t think it would be as hard as it was to murder people, or watch people get banished knowing that you’re the one that should be banished’

Going on to discuss his strategy he admitted: ‘I went in there with a gameplan that I executed quite well and it’s got me to the final, but at the same time there’s times where people are looking at you and pointing fingers at you’.
‘When I went through that and I managed to save myself, after that moment I knew I’d be in the finals’
‘I knew it from that one moment during the [fellow traitor] Alyssa [banishment] episode, where people hugged me after, and I hardly had a vote after that. I went from loads of votes all the time to hardly any and I knew it from the next day. I thought ‘I’ve got this now.’
Shock! Amanda made a dramatic exit from the show after finally being discovered as a traitor
Hannah, 32 – Faithful
Occupation: Comedian
Hannah, who has never questioned pal Wilf’s loyalty, revealed she had ‘no idea’ how she made it to the final and was convinced she’d last ‘about five minutes’.
‘I think you spend so much time second guessing and game planning, trying to get a game plan together and then that all goes out the window and you’re just happy to be there another day!’.
When asked what it felt like making it to the final she teased: ‘Like I’m incredibly ill, at death’s door but I’m having this incredibly weird, deluded, fever dream!’.

She went on to say her hopes of taking home the prize fund would help her further her career in comedy.
‘It would mean I could concentrate solely on my career for the next year, being a comedian has always been my dream’.
Challenge: They undertook mammoth challenges to add money to the prize fund
Aaron, 24 – Faithful

Faithful Aaron has found fingers constantly pointed at him by other players and accused daily of being a traitor.
When asked if he thought he would make it to the final he exclaimed: ‘No way! Are you joking?’
‘No, I did not think I’d make it through to the final five. I thought I’d go out after day three and that’s before I even knew what would happen in day three’.

He went on to reveal his shock at the heightened tension and emotions of the players ion the castle.
‘I didn’t think there would be as much drama as there was or be as chaotic, or for to be as many emotions as there were’.
Having broke down in tears on the show he revealed that dozens of Mum’s had offered him hugs via social media
Meryl, 25 – Faithful
Occupation: Call Centre Agent
Meryl – who has also been wrongly accused of being a traitor – said making it to the final was a real ‘pinch me’ moment.
‘I never expected it in a million years. When I first went onto the show I just wanted to try and get through. I kept just thinking one more day, one more day. I never ever thought I was going to get this far, for sure. It feels surreal’.
Faithful: Meryl – who has also been wrongly accused of being a traitor said making it to the final was a real ‘pinch me’ moment
She admitted that telling Wilf she had received the shield [which saved her from being murdered] was not the best decision.
‘There were so many funny memes and people asking why would Meryl do that?!’
‘I was like oh my god! And my friends watched it and said oh that is just so you, you don’t think before you speak! I was like I know!’
Gushing about the response of social media to her appearance she laughed: ‘I remember pictures of me being posted and people saying ‘I want to be as happy as Meryl with her wheelbarrow!’.

Kieran, 42 – Traitor
Occupation: Solutions Consultant
Kieran found himself dramatically booted from the show in episode one alongside Amos, before later returning as a faithful ahead of joining the traitor ranks alongside Wilf.
Recalling the early exit he said: ‘And I was getting prepared to get stick left, right and centre for it!’
‘It was the most brutal twist in a game show ever and it set the tone of the show to perfection – it got everyone hooked from the first episode. But being on the end of it was hard’.

He went on to reveal how producers told them of their return to the show after 15 minutes of being a broken man.
‘Then when the two ladies got into the car and said to me how you feeling? We were like “How do you think we’re feeling?” then they went “we’re bringing you back”. And then me and Amos, basically if anyone was filming the car, you’d have seen the car shaking from side to side where we were going crazy in the back of the car’.
‘It was probably one of the best sentences I’ve heard in my life because it was from utter despair, to like euphoria again saying ‘Okay, that is brilliant. Brutal, but thank you’.
Discussing his own strategy he went on to say: ‘There’s no luck involved it’s a tactical game with all sorts of scenarios – the twists and turns are ridiculous. Everyone’s journey is unique, but mine is particularly unique.
So I’m very grateful, very happy to have survived that amount of time and be alive and in the final’.
