And a look back over the franchise’s history sees only one couple having gone the distance – Georgia Love and Lee Elliott – who tied the knot in an intimate ceremony in March 2021.
Here, Daily Mail Australia takes a look back at the failed Bachelorette unions, including being dumped over FaceTime less than a week after the finale episode.

Brooke Blurton and Darvid Garayeli – split after just five weeks
On Sunday, Darvid shared a post to Instagram, revealing that he has split with Brooke, just one month after the series ended.
‘Starting off the New Year with an end to a chapter and hopefully the beginning of another,’ Darvid began his post.

Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek – split after 18 months
Australia’s first Bachelorette couple confirmed in December 2016 that they had split after 18 months together.
The pair, who famously met on the set of The Bachelorette in 2015, confirmed the news with an official statement from their talent manager at the time.
‘After 18 months together, Sam Frost and Sasha Mielczarek have come to a mutual decision to end their relationship,’ they told Daily Mail Australia.

Sophie Monk and Stu Laundy – split after three months
In January 2018, Sophie confirmed she had split with Stu, following explosive claims that the relationship had ‘run its course’.
Sophie took to Instagram to share a heartfelt Instagram post, confirming break-up reports.

While Sophie didn’t mention Stu by name at all in the lengthy post, she explained she felt she ‘owed’ Australia an answer because their relationship had played out in front of the nation’s eyes.
Ali Oetjen and Taite Radley – split after two years
The couple announced their break-up at the end of July 2020.
The pair, who had been separated for 88 days prior to their split due to the Covid-19 pandemic, said that they were ‘taking time apart’ and giving each other space.

They said they still loved each other and didn’t rule out a possible reconciliation.
In an Instagram post in September that year, Ali broke down in tears.

Angie Kent and Carlin Sterritt – split after 10 months
Angie announced the pair’s split on Instagram in July 2020, telling her followers: ‘Matters of the heart are extremely difficult and I’m sad to say that Carlin and I have broken up.
‘I wish him nothing but the best in the future. I appreciate everyone’s concern and the investment that many of you made into the show and our story, but this is real life and we both need privacy and time to heal.’
In December, Carlin was forced to defend himself after Angie claimed he was obsessed with looks and wanted her to look ‘like a Barbie doll’.

Elly finally confirmed her long-rumoured split from Frazer in December 2020.
In an emotional video shared to Instagram, The Bachelorette star wiped away tears as she revealed that she’d split from the winner of the show and hinted at possible infidelity in their relationship.
‘I honestly gave everything I had to that show and to him and so for it to not work out, it’s pretty devastating,’ she sobbed.

In November 2020, Becky confirmed she had split from her winning suitor Pete, just hours after the season finale of The Bachelorette.
Becky bravely fronted the media, breaking down in tears during back-to-back radio interviews as she revealed she was ‘angry’ that Pete had dumped her via FaceTime after just three days.
