Put America First!: Stop The HATE!

Whether one agrees with this President, his rhetoric, and the direction, he seems to be taking the nation, and the entire world, towards, or not, there should be, nearly – universal agreement, what’s going on, isn’t normal! Optimists, generally, believe, love trumps HATE, and, believe, the American people, are, basically, caring, loving, empathetic individuals, who believe in, and wish to preserve and protect the basic rights, liberties, and justice, for all, which our Constitution, guarantees to its citizens. Many recent polls have declared, the level of unease, stress, tensions, and anxieties, is at an unprecedented level, and, data, indicates, a substantial increase in the number of hate crimes, etc. Between, the various forms of terrorism, and terrorist acts, both here, and around the world, as well as the enormous increase in the number of mass killings, and shootings, it is clear, we are living, in dangerous times, which, if not addressed, and trends reversed, has the potential to change the nature of the nation, world, and human rights. With that in mind, this article will attempt to, briefly, consider, examine, review, and discuss, using the mnemonic approach, what this means, and why, it deserves considerable attention!

1. Healing; helping; head/ heart: Instead of focusing on unifying the differences, and healing the wounds of our citizens, President Donald Trump, often, resorts to articulating a negative, polarizing, message! When helping each other, may be necessary, to a far greater degree, than any time, in recent memory, the man in the White House, has tended to appeal to his core supporters, rather than seeking a greater appeal, to/ for, the common good, and a healthier, meeting, of the minds! Doing so, requires using, both, the best of our logical and emotional components, in a head/ heart balance!

2. Attitude; aptitude; attention; attract; articulate: When a public official, proceeds, with articulating, a positive, can – do, unifying, supportive message, and, proceeds, in a well – considered manner, with the needed and necessary, skill – set, and relevant aptitude, he must pay attention to the needs of all, instead of playing favorites, and appealing to his political base, rather than to others! Wouldn’t we all, be better served, if the goal, was to attract, and unify, instead of proceed, in an adversarial manner?

3. Timely; time – tested: Life and society evolve, and, thus, the public’s needs, do, also! When one follows a, Make America Great Again, philosophy/ slogan, it takes us, back, to the past, often, at the expense of relevant, sustainable ideas, and viable solutions! Great leaders use time – tested ideas, and plans, while never procrastinating/ delaying, in a timely manner!

4. Empathize; emphasis; enrich; excellence: When hate, becomes dominant, over unifying, and focusing on liberties, freedoms, and justice, for all, listening disappears, and, thus, with it, so does the necessary degree of genuine empathy! One must focus his emphasis, and energy, on enriching our society, nation, and world, in a truly, relevant, sustainable way, with the goal of achieving the highest possible degree of genuine excellence!

Americans must be, put, first, and, this, will only happen, when our elected officials, realize, and understand, we will no longer tolerate, am emphasis on HATE! We will only serve the needs of most of our nations, responsibly, when love, and our Constitutional freedoms, of life, liberty, and justice, for all, trumps hatred, bigotry, and personal/ political agendas, and self – interest!
