Phillip revealed on Tuesday that he’s finally out of isolation after producing two negative Covid tests.
The presenter had been forced to skip hosting This Morning and Dancing On Ice and admitted he was ‘bored out of his brain’ while locked away in his home after testing positive for Covid seven days in a row.
Yet his luck changed on Monday afternoon after he produced a negative lateral flow test, with a follow-up negative on Tuesday meaning that he could leave isolation.

The day before, the star had shared another test snap, captioned: ‘oh hello!! What do we have here?’ alongside a fingers crossed emoji.
Current government isolation rules state people who test positive in England can now end their quarantine after five full days, as long as they have negative lateral flow results on the fifth and sixth.
The default self-isolation period remains 10 days, and that people can only end it early if they receive two negative results on consecutive days – the earliest being days five and six

Phillip’s negative test came shortly after he appeared on Monday’s episode of This Morning virtually.
Chatting to hosts Holly Willoughby and stand-in host Alison Hammond from his stylish home, Phillip shared: ‘I’m perfectly okay. A week ago I had a slightly scratchy throat for an hour. I have ploughed my way through box sets.’
He added: ‘I have been cooking. I sat in the garden because the sun came out. I’m bored out of my brain.’
Phillip, who first announced he had tested positive for the virus on January 31, continued: ‘I have cleaned every single cupboard, every surface, everything.’
He then turned his attention to Sunday night’s Dancing On Ice – which he was unable to host alongside Holly due to his testing positive.
Of the show, which Holly hosted alongside step-in presenter Stephen Mulhern, Phillip said: ‘By the way Holly, it was really weird. It was so weird watching. I sat with a gin and tonic.’

Stephen was confirmed as a replacement for Phillip on Saturday with a statement from ITV reading: ‘This Sunday’s episode of Dancing on Ice will be hosted by Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern while Phillip Schofield continues to self-isolate.’
Prior to his chat, the veteran presenter took to Instagram to share yet another positive result, writing: ‘Come on, this is getting so bloody dull now. I am seriously going out after this.’

Speaking on the show via video link, he said: ‘There are a number of things I’m disappointed about. Obviously, I’m disappointed I’m not there.
‘We’re a little bit worried about Dancing On Ice, because I’m cutting it a bit fine for that on Sunday. I’m going to miss Gok’s dumplings, which I’m gutted about.’
