Npower Unsuccessful Applicants & NExit CBN Loan: Sadiya Gives Update

The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development has requested that those who have not been shortlisted for the Batch C stream of the Npower program remain calm.

Shortlisting is still ongoing, all applicants should check their dashboard till the process is completed, added the Minister.

More than 5 million people have applied, but only one million are needed, 500,000 in the first stream and 500,000 in the second stream.

The Minister, Hajia Sadia Omar Farooq, disclosed this in a statement issued on Tuesday by her Special Assistant on Strategic Communications, Mrs. Halima Oilade.

A total of 5,042,001 Nigerian youth have applied by the end of registration.

“Appropriate efforts will be made during the next round of selection to ensure that only eligible applicants are nominated.”

“The Ministry will ensure that the applicants as well as the general public are fully informed of the progress of the scheme.”

According to Farooq, the N-Power program aims to provide employment and entrepreneurship opportunities to Nigerian youth.

“The ministry is committed to President Mohammed Buhari’s vision of lifting 100 million Nigerians out of poverty over the next 10 years.

“However, the N-Power program is one of the platforms that can help make that vision a reality.”

Nexit CBN Loan: We Closed Portal / FG Looking for Funding Nexit

Humanitarian Minister Omar Sadia Farooq said the next CBN loan portal was officially closed, those trying to register would be denied, and interested volunteers were given plenty of time to show interest.

In a televised report on TVC News, the minister said he needed time to process more than 400,000 applications, a process that is complex and requires caution.

“We are processing the loan requests of over 400,000 individuals. To tick the questions asked in the application portal, their various options are sorted based on the business they want to do, of course. Nominees need more time to sort and group as they choose.

Sadia stressed the need for more patients as the government seeks all means to fund the Next CBN program.

“The government is looking for all the means to fund the CBN loan affiliate program. A supplementary budget will be passed this month, and those waiting for a loan need to be patient.
