Todays Npower latest News – The Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq on Wednesday said the Federal Government will soon enlist additional 400000 youths under the Npower program.

Todays Npower Latest News – Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development Minister Sadia Omar-Farooq said on Wednesday that the federal government would soon recruit an additional 400000 young people under the N-Power program.

Omar-Farooq said that the youth would be recruited for this program under Batch C2 which was aimed at equipping the youth with lifelong skills.

The Minister said that more than 3000 youth from North-West Zone under Batch C1 of N-Knowledge component of N-Power program would be trained in software and hardware skills during the closing ceremony.

According to her, “it is no longer news that the President has approved the expansion of N-Power to accommodate one million beneficiaries. We have been careful to do this with a total of 510000 people beneficiaries of the Batch C1 party and the Batch C2 will start soon.

“It is a well-known fact that the N-Power program is an important part of national social investment programs under the Federal Ministry of Human Affairs, Disaster Management and Social Development (FMHADMSD) and is dedicated to achieving national poverty reduction targets. The N-Power program is crucial in helping young Nigerians acquire and develop lifelong skills that will enable them to become lawyers and entrepreneurs in their communities.

N-Power has 3 main components: N-Power Volunteer Core, a graduate program, NPower Build, a graduate program, and NPower Knowledge, a graduate program and N-Tech hardware, N Tech software. and non-creative curricula (animation and scriptwriting).

The N-Knowledge program is designed to equip young Nigerians with the skills and empowerment to become competent workers, innovators and entrepreneurs ready for both the domestic and global digital job market. The N-Knowledge program aims to engage 20,000 young Nigerians on global radar as world-class exporters of services and content in the creative and information technology sectors.
