Npower Payment: NASIMS Confirms Allowance Payment to Non-Graduate Students

The Npower program continues its efforts to strengthen the skills and funding of young Nigerians as it has trained more than 3,000 young people from the Northeast and North Central regions of the country under the Npower, N-Knowledge sub-program.

Still, there are payment issues related to the Npower Beneficiary Scholarships from September / October. Although the federal government said all September payments were made, a large number of Npower Batch C beneficiaries said they had not seen any payments. Some even say that their payment status has not been changed to “balance”, which is the first step in the payment process.

The National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS), the oversight organization for the Npower program, recently released an update to the latest Npower Postgraduate Student Benefit Payments.

In a Facebook post on December 21, NASIMS raised the issue of paying Npower student benefits. The institute drew readers’ attention to the fact that the last allowance was paid to Npower postgraduate students, despite the fact that they were training at different centers.

Despite confirmation of payment, the organization stated that not all interns were passed. NASIMS urged others to be patient and ensured that those who were able to pay would be paid on time.

NASIMS then closed the booth with best wishes to the participants and continued training, asking them to make good use of the skills taught during the training.

NASIMS then stated in another post on December 21 that Npower students also received laptops and certificates of attendance upon completion of their training.

As for the candidates shortlisted by Npower, people are waiting for the list to be announced, which indicates who will participate in the next phase of the program. NASIMS has confirmed, however, that the list is not over yet.
