Merry Christmas! Mariah Carey shares snaps on Christmas Day as Rihanna throws it back to childhood

It’s finally Christmas, and stars have taken to their social media accounts to ring in the holiday.

Mariah Carey, the Queen of Christmas, led the pack as she shared family snapshots with Santa Claus and her twins with ex husband Nick Cannon – Moroccan and Monroe, ten.

She wrote in her caption, ‘My friend Santa made some time for us last night and stopped by on his sleigh. Apparently, Blitzen had a headache. Hahaha Merry Christmas.’

Mariah also posted a sensational Instagram album in which she strolled through a ‘Winter Wonderland’ set wearing a sexy Mrs. Claus ensemble under a sumptuous fur robe.

Rihanna, 33, shared an adorable throwback picture featuring a much younger version of her with the jolly old man. She wore a crewneck orange shirt and a belted pair of jeans as she smiled while sitting on his lap.

Jessica Biel, 39, followed suit, posting photos of her precious family-of-four as they walked down a winding rural road. The Sinner actress and her husband Justin Timberlake, 40, celebrated the holiday with their two sons, Silas, six, and Phineas, one.

Biel wrote in her caption, ‘Thankful for my guys…Merry Christmas everybody!!’

Christina Haack, 38, shared a photo of her three children sitting excitedly in front of their Christmas tree before opening gifts. The real estate mogul wrote in the caption: ‘The calm before the presents.’

Bella Thorne also appeared on Instagram to share outtakes from a sexy, themed photo shoot. The 24-year-old actress teased in her caption, ‘what’d you ask Santa for this year? I bet it was me.’

Bella’s fiery red hair was styled in two large pin curls at the top of her head, calling back to old pinup glamour.

The majority of her locks were left loose as they fell over her chest in luscious, face-framing spiral curls.

In some photos the bombshell wore a strapless satin black teddy that was trimmed in lace. It was paired with sheer black thigh-high stockings.

Thorne added a pairs of dressy heels – two separate green and black pairs – and wore a statement necklace with a large cross pendant.

Dua Lipa, 26, joined in with a throwback photo of her sitting on Santa’s lap with a pouty face. She wrote, ‘Merry Christmas everyone and Happy Holidays. The holidays can be a difficult time so please be sure to check on your loved ones that may be spending it alone, the ones suffering a loss or the ones that are far away from their families and friends this year. Sending love & healing x.’

Emma Roberts, 30, had the same idea as she also shared a flashback photo with Santa Claus. Her caption was much lighter as she simple wrote, ‘Merry Christmas everybody!!’ with a red heart emoji.

Alessandra Ambrosio, 40, posted four snapshots from her large family gathering. She wowed in a forest green, satin, mini wrap dress as she smiled with her daughter Anja Louise, 13, and son Noah Phoenix, nine.

Jada Pinkett Smith, 50, got creative as she made an autonomous sensory meridian response-themed Instagram reel.

The talk show host stroked her hands over items like candy canes, ornaments, and a wreath to make ‘Christmas joy sounds.’ She wrote in the caption: ‘ASMR x Xmas + Jada = [smiley face] Merry Xmas everyone.’

Millie Bobby Brown dropped in to share a selfie with her boyfriend Jake Bongiovi. The 17-year-old Stranger Things star rocked bangs and a bob and said, ‘happy holidays’ with a heart.

Halle Berry, 55, got in on the action with a picture of her and boyfriend Van Hunt, 51, peeking through a doorway. ‘Merry Christmas from our home to yours,’ she said.

Meanwhile, singer JoJo, 31, shocked fans by posting her engagement to actor Dexter Darden, 30.

The music artist showed off her huge engagement ring along with photos of the happy couple moments after she said ‘yes.’

‘forever with YOU? Sign me UP. celebrating Christmas a whole fiancé!!!’ she wrote in their joint Instagram post. The performer celebrated her birthday on December 20 and added in the caption, ‘thank you for the most epic birthday surprise ever.’

Justin Bieber took to social media with a very solemn post. The Peaches hitmaker didn’t share a photo, but instead opted to post a screenshot of his ‘Christmas wish.’

The pop star wrote in black font against a white background, ‘My Christmas wish is for whoever is reading this to stop and let God love you. Allow him to remind you of who you are this Christmas.’

On a much lighter note, Sailor Brinkley Cook, 23, and mom Christie Brinkley, 67 danced in a mirror to Mariah Carey’s classic All I Want for Christmas is You.

The Dancing with the Stars alum wrote across the video posted to Instagram Stories, ‘I’m drunk can u tell.’

Nicki Minaj and Lily Collins both appeared on the photo-sharing app with their families of three.

The 39-year-old New York rapper shared a photoset with her baby, who she lovingly refers to as Papa Bear, and hey husband Kenny Petty, 43.

Kourtney Kardashian took a moment to head to her Instagram Stories and share a photo of eight stuffed stockings.

The classic-style decorative fashions were knitted with various holiday images and had her family members’ names embroidered. The soon-to-be Mrs. Barker included fiancé Travis Barker’s three kids – Landon, 18, Alabama, 16, and Atiana, 22.

It was in addition to her three children with ex Scott Disick – Mason, 12, Penelope, nine, and Reign, seven.

Some of the stockings were so full that they overflowed with gifts for her loved ones.

Amelia Hamlin smiled big with a cup of coffee as she also took to Instagram Stories on Christmas day. The 20-year-old runway star wore a Santa hat as she stood in front of a lit Christmas tree.

In another outtake she paid tribute to her late maternal grandmother Lois Rinna, who passed away on November 15.
