Messoud invests mainly in off-plan properties, as the value of properties always appreciates over time. He enjoys the passive income that comes with renting out the properties, and investing in properties also prevents unnecessary spending on liabilities. He owns properties around the world, runs his own mentorship company, J Messoud University, helping individuals become self-made entrepreneurs, and is an investor in a wide range of start-up tech companies.

Messoud’s entrepreneurial spirit was evident from a young age. He had a passion for business and was a charity fundraiser at the age of 15/16. While most kids his age were engaging in illegal activities or seeking part-time jobs, he took the entrepreneurial route, knocking on his neighbors’ doors to find goods they no longer needed. He expanded his business by purchasing a van to load more second-hand goods for sale at the market. Messoud was also very aware that he didn’t want to work for anyone else and wanted the financial freedom that comes with entrepreneurship.

Messoud has also had some highs and lows in his career so far. His best moment was when he made his first million, which was a lifelong dream of his. However, his worst moment was when his plans to host seminars for his mentoring program were cancelled due to pandemic restrictions, which stunted the growth of this aspect of his business.
