Jodi Gordon pictured at therapy clinic as court bans her from seeing banker she allegedly assaulted
Jodi Gordon has been attending an exclusive immersion therapy clinic in Sydney as she recovers from a tempestuous relationship with a prominent investment banker who she’s been banned from seeing for two years after allegations she hit him with a wine bottle.
A tanned, fit and smiling former Home And Away starlet, 37, was seen walking around the garden, vaping and enjoying a cuppa at the ‘The Sydney Retreat’ in Stanmore, Sydney.
The mother-of-one was spotted by locals outside the treatment centre, which is housed in a landmark Victorian era manor, where clients are offered a ’30-day recovery program’ for $8,800.
On Easter Friday – just 11 days after court papers allege police found Ms Gordon ‘well affected by intoxicating liquor’ at a Kurrajong Heights guesthouse with an injured Sebastian Blackler – she was seen dressed in a sleek blank tank top and leggings while smiling to herself inside the Retreat’s fence.
On Easter Sunday morning, the Logie award-winning star of Home and Away, Underbelly and Neighbours was photographed dressed in a cream-coloured sweater as she emptied bins at the centre.
About lunchtime the following day, Ms Gordon donned a striped top and sucked on a vape pen while enjoying a hot drink in the centre’s outdoor area.

Clean living: Ms Gordon empties the bins (above) in the grounds of the clinic on Easter Sunday as lawyers representing her and ex-boyfriend Sebastian Blackler agreed in court to have them banned from seeing each other
Bad romance: Ms Gordon split from Mr Blackler, a prominent investment banker (above, together) in May last year but rekindled their relationship until two weeks ago when they were involved in an altercation at a country hotel
A friend of Ms Gordon’s told Daily Mail Australia of the actress’s current situation: ‘Jodi is in a sensitive state’.
The Sydney Retreat, which runs a 30-day ‘recovery’ and ‘immersion’ program for men and women, expects ‘respect and consideration’ from its ‘guests’, who are housed in mostly shared rooms.
It advises on its website that it ‘ ‘is not medical treatment’, not covered by health insurance or Medicare and residents ‘remain within the campus at all times’, and ‘leave … mobile phone and internet devices at home’.
At Windsor Local Court on Thursday, Magistrate Leanne Robinson ordered that Ms Gordon and her boyfriend of 18 months Sebastian Blackler not contact each other until April 2024.
Another condition of the Apprehended Violence Orders taken out by police against the couple – and consented to by their lawyers without admissions – forbids them from being able to stalk, harass or assault one another.
Mr Blackler’s lawyer Michael Bowe told Daily Mail Australia that the volatile romance between the two was now over.
Taking a breather: Dressed in a black and white striped top and toting a Berkelouw Books store hessian bag, Gordon sucks on a vape pen and carries a drink cup in the grounds of The Sydney Retreat
Fighting fit: Looking tanned and fit, Gordon smiles to herself while walking outside the inner-western Sydney clinic which offers ‘recovery’ and ‘immersion’ programs for men and women
Taking out the trash: The onetime Neighbours and Underbelly actress was seen on Easter Sunday emptying two white plastic bins at the therapy clinic before taking them back inside the facility
Better times: The 37-year-old former Home and Away and Neighbours star has been in a ‘tumultuous on-off relationship’ with 31-year-old banker (above together) since November 2020
Neither Ms Gordon nor Mr Blackler, a 31-year-old Sydney wealth management firm portfolio manager, appeared in court on Thursday.
The AVOs relate to an alleged altercation on April 3 in far north-western Sydney.
NSW Police were called to a bed and breakfast on the Sunday morning and arrested Mr Blackler but later released him without charge.
Court documents reportedly said when police asked Mr Blackler about bruising and swelling to his left eye, he alleged said his girlfriend ‘hit him with a wine bottle’, but declined to make a formal statement.
The AVO documents, obtained by The Australian newspaper, also police found bruising on Ms Gordon’s left eye and bottom lip, and three lumps on her forehead, but believed the injuries were days old.
Strict protocols: Ms Gordon, above on Easter Monday afternoon, is subject to the Sydney Retreat’s strict rules of ‘respect and consideration’, no mobile phones or internet and no leaving the premises
Hope at last: The Sydney Retreat, where Jodi strolled outside (above) late on Easter Friday afternoon, has a mantra ‘for individuals and families’ that ‘recovery starts here’
Court documents allege that investigators found Gordon (pictured) with bruising to her left eye and bottom lip, and three lumps on her forehead, but police thought the marks were days old
Documents tendered to the court also alleged that police ‘fear domestic assaults are occurring between the parties with Gordon’s consumption of intoxicating liquor exacerbating the violence’.
‘There is clearly domestic violence occurring between the parties [but they] are reluctant to disclose how the injuries have been sustained,’ the documents said.
Officers took out a restraining order against Ms Gordon on behalf of Mr Blackler, who was also issued with an AVO against the actress over the same alleged incident.
Police would not provide a statement when contacted by Daily Mail Australia.
The former couple had previously broken up in May 2021, but are understood to have rekindled their relationship in February this year following the expiry of an earlier AVO.
Australian actress Jodi Gordon (pictured) and her ex-boyfriend Sebastian Blackler have each been reportedly issued with AVOs against each other
It is not the first time police have taken out an AVO against Mr Blackler on Ms Gordon’s behalf.
Police were called to Ms Gordon’s Double Bay apartment, in Sydney’s eastern suburbs on November 27, 2020, over reports of an alleged domestic violence incident.
Officers subsequently took out an interim AVO to prevent Mr Blackler from assaulting, threatening, stalking, harassing or intimidating Ms Gordon
The following month, a court order was issued banning Mr Blackler from assaulting or threatening, stalking, harassing or intimidating Ms Gordon, but that expired at the end of 2021.
Ms Gordon, who played Martha MacKenzie on Home and Away from 2005 to 2010, shares daughter Aleeia with her ex-husband, former NRL star Braith Anasta.
The former couple married in 2012, welcomed their daughter in 2014, and separated a year later.
The Sydney Retreat’s mantra for ‘for individuals and families’ is ‘recovery starts here There is hope. We can help.’
Daily Mail Australia has requested responses from Ms Gordon’s legal and other representatives.
Love lost: The lawyer for Mr Blackler (above), Michael Bowe, said that the 31-year-old investment banker’s volatile relationship with the TV actress was now over and a court ordered a two year ban on their seeing one another
