Former Arsenal schoolboy Nathan Tella lasted 84 minutes on his full debut for Southampton as they were beaten 2-0 by Championship side Brentford at St. Mary’s Stadium.

The Bees advanced to the next round thanks to first half goals from Christian Noergaard and Joshua Dasilva.
