Big Brother Halloween shake-up with shock eviction as another housemate faces axe live on air

BIG Brother are springing a spooky Halloween surprise on the contestants which will see one of them leave by the back door.

As part of a scary new task, one wannabe will become “possessed”.

But playing the ghoul comes at a price as they will be forced to pick three housemates for eviction.

Big Brother host AJ Odudo will reveal the three people during tonight’s Late & Live show on ITV2, giving viewers just a few minutes to cast their vote.

In a brutal twist, the unlucky housemate picked by the public will then be spirited out the back door, never to be seen on the show again.

And fans will see all the action unfold during tomorrow night’s highlights episode.

A show insider said: “Big Brother is going to be a devil this Halloween by springing a shock eviction that will be a trick on the housemates but a real treat for viewers.

“The unlucky housemate will be booted out the back door and not get their big eviction moment in front of a live crowd which is sure to come as a major blow.

“And their old housemates are going to be stunned to lose someone in such savage circumstances.”

The shock eviction is part of a chilling new challenge which will also see the return of the three housemates who have already been evicted.

While Farida, Zak and Hallie won’t be seen back in the BB house, I can reveal they are filming secret footage that is sure to spook their former housemates.

The insider added: “The evicted housemates will be like the ghosts of Christmas past, back for a brief moment to cause tension among the gangs.

“It’s going to be a really nervy time for the housemates as they won’t know what’s hit them.

“They will also be left wondering who they can really trust.”

EMMA Willis’ own kids could be in the line to audition for The Voice Kids.

The presenter, who hosts the regular version of the ITV show, says daughter Trixie is eager to follow in pop-star dad Matt’s footsteps.

Emma said: “She’s desperate to audition for The Voice Kids. She doesn’t know the words to any song in full so she makes up her own. She just wrote her first song with her dad.”

The Voice returns on November 4.

Calling out all Ringo’s

IF your name is Ringo, there’s a fair chance that you could make some serious cash out of The Chase.

The ITV quiz show, hosted by Bradley Walsh, is looking to put a team of contestants together with the names of The Beatles.

But while researchers have found their John, George and Paul, they are struggling to find a quizzer who shares a name with drummer Ringo.

Chaser Anne Hegarty, better known as The Governess, revealed: “Researchers are getting very cute at putting together teams that collectively have funny names.

“Previous ones on our show have included Shelley, Cliff, Coral and Sandy, as well as Matthew Mark, Luke and Joan.

“But they’re struggling for a Ringo,so if anybody with that name fancies taking part in The Chase, there’s a fair chance they’ll be accepted…”

Wild time in Oz for Bill

BILL Bailey is heading Down Under for a new series.

Not I’m A Celebrity . . . but for his own epic new travel show delving into Australia’s “wild west”.

The comic will discover hidden gems including the white-sand beaches of Albany to the rocky domes of the Bungle Bungle Range in Purnululu National Park.

On the way, Bill will come across wild animals, and even wilder locals.

Bill has already been spotted joining a rowdy bunch of locals in a bar for a session of sea shanties, and playing a keytar as he got stuck in with a local band.

And elsewhere in the four-part series, the funnyman will do doughnuts in a tugboat, swim with whale sharks and discover dinosaur prints with a star-gazing tour guide named Gandalf.

An insider said: “It’s going to be a wild ride for Bill as he travels 12,000 miles across Australia’s west coast, from tropical wetlands to desert wastelands.

“Luckily Bill wasn’t shy about getting stuck in, because there are plenty of hands-on activities viewers will get to watch him give a go.

“It’ll be a far cry from his peaceful rambles on Perfect Pub Walks.”

Bill Bailey’s Wild Western Australia is expected to air on Channel 4 next month.

Dawn is knee-ly sorted

DAWN French has revealed she will finally have an op to fix her “crumbled” left knee – 14 years after a restaging of her classic Vicar Of Dibley puddle-plunging stunt on The Paul O’Grady Show ended in disaster.

The actress stepped into the fake puddle and dropped 12ft on to two thin crash mats on the concrete studio floor.

And though her leg was left “twisted like a pretzel” in the 2009 accident, with walking a constant agony, she held off having surgery for years due to a mix-up about injections.

In her new book, The Twat Files, she says: “A surgeon gave me an injection to the knee with a steroid and lubricant. Eventually I’d need a knee replacement, but I could have three of these injections.

“I limped through life in a big vat of denial for ages, dragging my crumbly left knee about, knowing I only had two, and then one more pop.”

But then Dawn found out she could have been given three injections each year.

She added: “That is why you should always write down what the doctor tells you.

“I have been suffering for many years for no reason. The surgery is booked for just before Christmas!”

Got cell phone, Marcus?

AFTER Tom Rosenthal smuggled ciggies into the prison on Banged Up, Marcus Luther has gone one better.

The Gogglebox star managed to get a phone into his cell block by hiding it on his person.

This comes after I revealed how Friday Night Dinner star Tom admitted to getting a packet of tobacco into HMP Shrewsbury by “smuggling it up his bottom”.

Marcus said: “I did smuggle a phone into the prison. I needed to, it was a small phone, but I did not put that in my bottom. I won’t say where I smuggled it, you’ll have to wait and see.”

I’m not sure I want to know, Marcus.
