Zachary Quinto ‘really impressed’ by Kim Kardashian’s acting skills on American Horror Story

Kim Kardashian has received the seal of approval from a famous actor weeks after being criticized by big name thespians for her American Horror Story casting.

Zachary Quinto confirmed that he will have a guest spot on the upcoming Ryan Murphy anthology series as he praised the 42-year-old reality star after meeting her.

He confirmed that he can be seen on season 12 of the series – titled American Horror Story: Delicate – as he revealed meeting her.

Zachary said: ‘I did a cameo on this season of American Horror Story and I got to meet her.

‘She was so lovely and warm and, really, I don’t think she needs my advice.’

He added that Kim certainly seemed to be comfortable in front of the camera and has full belief that she is going to knock it out of the park.

Zachary explained: ‘She seemed really in her element, and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness.

‘I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she’s gonna do a wonderful job.’

The words of support from Zachary come weeks after Sharon Stone joined in on criticizing Kim for being cast in American Horror Story.

Back in April, the 65-year-old Basic Instinct actress slammed on the casting choice by commenting on an Instagram post shared by Access Hollywood about Patti LuPone‘s own disapprova.

‘Well… you know… acting,’ the Oscar winner wrote in response. ‘It may not be brain surgery but we do treasure our art.’

‘We studied, we suffered, we do suffer for it,’ she continued. ‘Ten thousand hours; it’s a thing.’

Back in April, the reality TV star announced that she would be joining the cast for the upcoming 12th season.

Stone seemed to be referencing a popular concept from Malcolm Gladwell’s Outliers: The Story of Success.

In the non-fiction tome published in 2008, the self-help book author claimed that 10,000 hours of practice in any given field can germinate eventual success.

Although the screen icon — who made an appearance on one of the last episodes of The Late Late Show with James Corden last week — did not work on the horror anthology series herself, she clearly agreed with Lupone’s points about Kardashian’s unexpected career move.

Just two days earlier, the Broadway star, 74 — who acted in two seasons of the FX series — expressed her disapproval on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

The Life Goes On alum shed light on why she’s not happy Kim landed a role on the series.

Kim did not disclose in what capacity or if she is playing herself, however The Hollywood Reporter revealed details soon after the star shared the announcement.

The outlet revealed that the show’s 12th season will be called Delicate, and will be based on Danielle Valentine’s upcoming novel called Delicate Condition.

The book is about a woman who is convinced someone sinister is making sure her pregnancy doesn’t happen.

The outlet reported that the season will be written by Halley Feiffer, who will also serve as the showrunner.

In a statement to THR, AHS co-creator Ryan Murphy said: ‘Kim is among the biggest and brightest television stars in the world and we are thrilled to welcome her to the AHS family.’

Adding: ‘Emma and I are excited about collaborating with this true force in the culture. Halley Feiffer has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done.’
