Weather forecast tomorrow – UK to be battered by THREE days worth of rain & warning venomous false widows to invade
BRITS will be blasted by three days of thunderstorms and downpours as a “revved up jet stream” moves in from the Atlantic.
Sunseekers have so far basked in scorching May sunshine, with a roasting 27.5C marking the hottest day of the year so far.
But Brits are now being urged to unpack their umbrellas, as an unseasonable spring chill and three-days of rain is set to hit the UK.
Met Office forecaster Aidan McGivern said the week will bring “three days or so of rain, showers and a keen breeze especially on Wednesday and Thursday before the weather settles down for the weekend.”
Meanwhile, the country’s only venomous spider is thought to be surging in numbers because of the current warm weather.
Spiders experts are warning the UK false widows are coming out hibernation and multiplying.
Pest control expert Clive Boase told the Daily Star: “The population of false widows in the UK is growing all the time. People don’t realise just how common they have become. They can survive both indoors and outdoors.
“They are generally shy creatures and won’t come out into the open – but they could crawl into curtains or perhaps clothing left on the floor.”
