” We have dated online for two years already because we are far apart.
All through, he has been good to me, he always said he’ll marry me but I wasn’t taking him seriously until this year.
He even proposed to me online but I told him we are gonna see first, spend time together before I can give him any answer.
He booked a hotel for us in Port Harcourt, because of security sake and considering the fact that I was visiting for the first time, I told him that I’ll do the booking myself and send him the address.

Last week, I booked online, checked in last week’s thursday, but I sent him the address on Friday, I had already put in some security measures in place should anything happen.
He came and we spent two nights together before I travelled back.
I planned on spending one week with him perhaps to know more about him but I couldn’t do all that because of what I saw.
I can sincerely tell you that the guy was really cool and rich, I can say he isn’t much different from who he told me he is, but he is a chronic smoker and he never told me that.

He cannot spend three good hours without smoking.
I thought of ignoring all that but considering the fact that I’ll have to live with this man all through my life if we get married, I found it quite scary.
I told him about it when I travelled back and he said he can quit smoking because of me.
Is that possible, coach ?
I booked because I wanted to get your own view.
Am I doing the right thing ending the relationship because of that? ”

I asked her few questions which she answered before I advised her:
” People date and marry smokers, they also have good marriages too.
However, you are in the best position to know what you can accommodate and what you cannot.
Some ladies do not like smoking but they can comfortably stay with smokers, while some are scared away by the slightest smell of it.
From our conversation, you are irritated by the smell and it makes you repulsive to him, I don’t think it’s the best decision for you to continue with him.

As for quitting smoking, yes people quit but it’s only about 3% of them end up quitting successfully. More so, it may require a lot of time, patience and endurance from you.
If you cannot deal with it, please move on, so that you won’t make a decision you’ll live to regret.”
That’s where we stopped.
