The Party Temple Veils Have Been Rent
“I don’t care how much you know, until I know how much you care!”
That is what the majority of the people of the U.S.A. have concluded, wishing to see a decent result for their nation. But it is final, and President-elect Joe Biden will occupy the Oval Office as of January 20, 2021.
The people are eager to move forward and start living a life, with better social outcomes this time. Hopefully, it will be achieved without interference, widespread rudeness, gross arrogance, unmitigated blame and unabashed lashings of shame and other familiar heavy-handed tactics. You definitely don’t need a sledge hammer to crack a walnut.
The only image I have from this now defunct era of short dictatorship, is the damage caused to a once great nation, and to the spirit of the good people of the United States of America. My only prayer is that the damage is not permanent. Suddenly, the world feels like a safer place for a while. It is in the hands of a more compassionate, better composed, empathetic individual who, by all accounts, is befitting of the title and the mantle of authority of his new office.
Don’t get me wrong, I have nothing against Donald Trump, per se, however, I do have a problem with self-indulgent leaders who are clearly racist. He did project rudeness, aggression and selfish tones to the masses. He behaved like a rejected Hollywood extra, but most of all, has single-handedly divided an entire population with his own brand of ideology now identified as ‘Trumpism.’ He will never live it down!
No wonder White Supremacism has grown more than 55% in the past four years alone. Without a doubt, his words have successfully acted also as a fertilizer for White Supremacist groups, (check out the USA list here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:White_supremacist_groups_in_the_United_States ), while being negligent towards the worst pandemic track record on the planet, therefore ignoring those in need regardless of colour or creed… You must now be held accountable.
Good and wholesome leadership does not incite civil unrest, nor condones violence amongst a divided people in the name of self-preservation. If histyory has taught us anything, a dictator walks a thin line along the path of Fascism.
The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. It was ratified in 1788, and states:
We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, ensure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America.
Simply put, the country’s leadership has failed to recognize the needs of its people, or at the very least, set a mature and decent example.
At the time of writing this article the U.S.A. has almost 308,000 people who have so far died from the Covid-19 pandemic. Each day brings around 190,000 new infections to the general tally. There are now 16.9 million people in the U.S. alone who are currently infected with the virus. It is by far the worst hit nation on our planet, and there is no relief in sight on any horizon. They are better at rocket science than setting a good example for saving their own people. And for all those hoodwinked Christians, have you forgotten that “By their fruits, ye shall know them.” How rotten is this fruit?

Prominent Evangelic figures are now warning against Trump. The party temple veils have been inadvertently rent. Democracy has come down, off from the high wire. Using a sledge hammer to crack a walnut could never possible soothe what ails this country!
History will be the best judge of this period, and although Trumpism has been subverted, it has not yet been buried. Apologies, but I will have to leave it there now as I’m contemplating playing a game of golf…
