Vobiss Gridworx Nigeria Limited (Vobiss Gridworx) is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and a telecommunication communications infrastructure delivery company. The company is an affiliate of Vobiss Solution Limited, Ghana, a Systems Integration and Communications Infrastructure provisioning company. Established in 2018, We provide specialist advisory services and solutions across five verticals in Information and Communication Technology (ICT), Smart Energy, Telecommunication infrastructure and Electronic Security to enterprises within the emerging markets of sub-Saharan Africa, in particular Ghana and Nigeria.

The Job : Telecom Engineer

Job Profile
- Plan and execute end to end service delivery in the Transport network to ensure all connectivity requirements to all locations/nodes in the shortest possible time
Qualifications & Technical Experience
- B.S. in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Two to six years of technical engineering experience deploying and supporting IP LAN/WAN technologies is required
- CFOT or relevant Fibre Network certifications are preferred
- CCNA or relevant Cisco Network certifications are preferred
- Excellent verbal communication and writing skills are required
- Experience in service validation, gateway support and troubleshooting fibre optic network infrastructure
- Thorough knowledge of networking concepts, including OSI model, Ethernet and TCP/IP specifically.
- WAN connectivity such as, E-LAN, VPLS, and MPLS
- Good working knowledge with Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches
- Expertise in configuration of Virtual Local Area Networks using routers and multi-layer switches and supporting RSTP/MSTP along with troubleshooting of inter-VLAN routing and VLAN trunking using 802.1Q
- Wi-Fi experience is required
- Voice experience would be beneficial:
- Unified Communications Manager (UCM)
- Instant Messaging & Presence (IM&P)
- Unified Contact Centre Express (UCCX) and/or Unified Contact Centre Enterprise (UCCE)
- Video Communications Server (VCS)
- IP phones, video endpoints
- Voice gateways and Cisco Unified Border Element (CUBE)
