Strictly Come Dancing’s Bobby Brazier and Dianne Buswell laugh off romance rumours as EastEnders actor clears up speculation surrounding his love life

They displayed their affection for one another as they left a steamy Strictly Come Dancing rehearsal earlier this week.

But Bobby Brazier, 20, has insisted there is nothing more than friendship between him and his professional dance partner Dianne Buswell, 34.

EastEnders actor Bobby and twinkle-toed star Dianne were spotted through the windows of their dance studio this week as they put on a racy performance.

They were later seen leaving rehearsals arm-in-arm in full view of onlookers.

But the pair are taking any speculation surrounding them in their stride, with Dianne laughing to the Mirror: ‘That happens every year, it’s just part of it.’

Bobby joked: ‘Especially when we’re both so good-looking.’

Meanwhile, Bobby cleared up other rumours surrounding his love life, insisting to the Mirror: ‘I have no girlfriend.’

He was said to have been ‘besotted’ with his model ex Tillie Amartey who he ‘invited to watch him perform’ on Strictly.

It was claimed Bobby was ‘constantly messaging’ Waterloo Road star Tillie, also 20, and ‘hasn’t given up’ on their relationship.

The duo were last spotted together on their Instagram Stories in August 2021, with a source saying they ended their relationship in March 2022.

Bobby has most recently been linked to Liberty Love. They split shortly before his stint on the BBC competition began.

A source told the Mirror: ‘Bobby was really keen on her, but she decided to call time on the relationship, feeling they weren’t compatible. There was no big row and, as they have always been on/off, Bobby hasn’t given up.’

They added: ‘He is doing all the running at the moment. Bobby is messaging Tillie constantly in between rehearsals and has also asked her to the Strictly studio.

‘Tillie does really like him, but she is based in Manchester and hasn’t decided if she will come down to see him.’

The so-called Strictly Curse has led to many break-ups and romantic bust-ups over the years.

But this year’s favourite Bobby appeared to have found a way to sidestep it altogether – after he split from his on-off girlfriend as his bid for the glitterball trophy began.

The EastEnders actor confirmed the split from model Liberty, who he had been dating for more than 18 months in September.

A source said: ‘She and Bobby had been on and off but now it seems that it’s over for good.’

It means he cannot fall prey to the Strictly Curse – where romance blossoms between contestants and professional dancers already in relationships.

Bobby stepped out with Mia Mon over the summer, however it is thought that he and Liberty have been on and off for more than 18 months.

In July 2022, Bobby and Liberty unfollowed each other on Instagram and deleted all traces of each other from their social medias.

However, they rekindled their spark and began dating again, until Bobby called it quits ahead of his Strictly debut.

They are the early favourites to win, and sources say BBC bosses are so keen to see Brazier make it to the final that they let him off filming for EastEnders while he is on the show.
