‘So as my beautiful followers a lot of you had asked if I was pregnant a while back when I wasn’t on the rides at Southport and you also noticed a lot of things, well you were right, we were having a baby! I was pregnant.

‘We found out from so, so early on it felt like we were pregnant for sooo long. If you remember I came off social media for a while, it was because we had a miscarriage. I was nearly nearly 12 weeks pregnant (3 months).

‘I had sickness from early on (bad, bad sickness lol I was so nauseous and vomiting) and crazy hormones so it felt a long time with our baby.

‘I started getting really bad headaches one night and the next morning I woke up and I said to Joe and my mum and Joe’s mum that I didn’t feel pregnant anymore, they know how I am and thought I was overly worrying and the baby would be fine as on our previous scans the baby’s heartbeat was beating beautifully. But as a mum I guess you just know…’

Stephanie went on to explain that she and Joe are ‘heartbroken’ following the miscarriage, saying she thought everything was ‘ok’ after passing the 12-week mark.

‘The anxiety, the heartbreak and the sadness we have gone through was horrendous. Me and Joe were so excited and already had visioned and planned a life with our family of 4.

‘I was already looking at what I was doing for my baby shower. You think when you get further on like I was that everything will be ok, so it was a big shock.

‘When they told us there was no heartbeat anymore I don’t really remember much after that just totally heartbroken.’

The TV star said she had to be rushed in to hospital for an operation and heartbreakingly said she felt ‘numb and empty’ after the surgery.

She added: ‘I had to have an operation to have our baby removed as was further on, I couldn’t have got though it all without my absolute rock, Joe. My mum, Joe’s mum, Jane, and Cath were amazing, and our family’s and my management’s support.

‘After the operation I was so numb and empty and my hormones were all over the place. It was hard to accept there was nothing there anymore and our journey we were on was over. Joe was my rock and I love you more every day ❤️.

She said: ‘I just thought, you know what, I’m ready to talk about it now. Obviously it was a bit of a while ago and I wasn’t ready to speak about it then so we’ve left it until our own time, until we were ready.’

‘It’s taken me a while, obviously my health, I’ve just been in poor health, my skin flared up really bad with the miscarriage and the stress I was under,’ she continued.

‘You know, the bleeding side of it and the pains down there, they took a while for everything to go back to normal. Then I’ve had this lump. So right now, I’m just trying to get myself back in tip-top condition.’

In a long caption, she went on to detail how she has been through ‘so much’, including battles with mental health, but said she is ‘grateful’ for her partner Joe and her loving family.

She penned: ‘I have been through so much in my life, numerous traumas PTST, domestic abuse, serious mental abuse, flashbacks, night terrors, addiction, numerous suicide attempts, mental health, self harm (more serious stuff I can’t even write), you name it, I’ve gone through it.

‘Then all the other back luck I have had in my life and everything else that has gone wrong.

‘But I wouldn’t change a thing for the person I am today. You grow through what you go through. I am grateful at the end of all of this I have Caben and Joe and my beautiful family (mine and Joe’s) and friends.

‘Some people are narrow minded and haven’t gone through what some of us have so they don’t understand. That’s ok, let them judge don’t care what people think, keep doing YOU and pushing forward, because in the end, good always wins.’

It comes after Stephanie suffered another miscarriage in September last year.

Posting an unfinished video montage that began with the news of her pregnancy at the time, Stephanie could be seen reading a positive home test and sharing the news with her then-partner Oliver Tasker.

In an accompanying caption, the Hollyoaks star explained how she had hoped to end the video by capturing the moment she told son Caben, four, that he was going to be a big brother.

Admitting she ‘never got that far’, Stephanie told followers she wanted to wait until she reached the 12 week mark before sharing the news, however ‘started getting pains’ and was told after being admitted to hospital that her pregnancy ‘was no more’.

The actress went on to explain that ‘this is why I’ve been so quiet,’ and told fans she had decided to take a pregnancy test after they pointed out her ‘bad skin, heavy curry intake and hormones’.

Stephanie revealed that her hospital stay involved ‘scans and lots of blood’ and that she was told ‘her levels are dropping drastically and her pregnancy is no more’.

She wrote in full: ‘Why I’ve been quiet. Didn’t know if to post this or not just felt so lost recently. Is it no one’s business, or should I share my sadness or just keep It in and feel sad and alone like I do.

‘As my followers I guess you know me pretty well. It was in fact your messages about my bad skin change, my heavy curry intake, random food and hormones that made me check… I was pregnant.

‘We only told close friends and family as wanted to wait till the 12 weeks safety mark even though I thought of course it would all be fine.

‘I was so happy. Unfortunately I started getting pains and was under the hospital were they were keeping a close eye on on me.

‘Scans and lots of bloods later I had the dreaded phone call of the hospital saying that my levels were dropping drastically, and sadly my pregnancy is no more.

‘Then it was just the waiting game to start bleeding and loose what I dreamt about and was so happy about. I finally thought I had my happy ending. That’s why I’ve been quiet and today the dreaded pains and bleeding has begun, it makes it all real now that it’s over.

‘I made this video that Ol and Cath actually had a good laugh at at the time when my hormes were all over the pace, it gave them a good laugh watching me watch it on repeat sobbing with my hormones watching it over and over lol, but I loved it.

‘My hormones were all over the place while I sat and re watched it over and over crying happy tears.

‘I wanted to end the video telling Caben he was going to have a brother or sister but we never got that far…

‘I was so excited to finally get to enjoy very second of my pregnancy and it be a happy thing, I never thought I’d have the strength to go through another pregnancy as with Caben it was a horrific traumatic time, but I guess you heal and I couldn’t wait to have my happy ever after with Oliver and Caben and our baby.

‘I feel all over the place right now and know I was early but it still hurts. I seen my whole future ahead of me and had my hand on my stomach every day. Just feel so lost right now and my hormones are understandably all over the place.

‘I know one day I’ll get my happy ending but for now I just have to get through this.’
