New Self Service Portal for NPower: A Simple Explanation
The people who manage NPower, which is a program in Nigeria, have made a big change.
They’ve moved their online site, which is called a portal, from one place to another.
This portal is managed by a group called the National Social Investment Management System (NASIMS).
Before, you could find it at nasims.gov.ng. Now, it’s in a new spot called the Self Service Portal (SSP).
You can go there by typing ssp.nasims.gov.ng into your web browser.
What Happened to the Old Portal?
Not too long ago, a news group called VoiceofNigeria reported that people couldn’t access the NASIMS Portal.
That’s a big problem because people use this portal to get important services.
In response to this issue, NASIMS decided to move from its old portal to this new Self Service Portal.
What’s New with NPOWER Payments?
As of now, there’s no new news about payments from npower.
That being said, Npower has recently paid some money that they owed to certain people who use Npower.
This only happened for people who followed the instructions given by the Npower management.
New Way to Login to the Portal for Npower Users
The new Self Service Portal has a new way to login for people who use Npower.
Npower is part of a larger set of programs which include GEEP, CCT, and NHGSFP.
The new portal now shows all these programs in one place. This makes it easier for everyone to login.
Right now, only the Npower users can login on the new portal. Here’s a simple guide on how they can do it:
- Open your web browser and go to either nasims.gov.ng or ssp.nasims.gov.ng.
- You’ll see a pop-up list. From this list, find Npower and click the circle next to it. Then, click continue.
- A login page will show up. Here, you’ll have to enter your email and password to get into the portal.
The new portal will show more clearly how the NSIP programme is working if it is upgraded.

You need to follow the instructions in the message to complete your enrollment in the Npower programme.
