Another fan reminisced on Kim’s days as Samantha on The Sex And The City HBO show – which ran for 6 seasons from 1998 to 2004 – writing, ‘Samantha Jones I love you.’
The star’s post comes after her former co-star Sarah Jessica Parker, 57, contradicted claims made by Kim that she had ‘no intention’ of returning as Samantha in the third spin-off movie from the franchise.

Kim had previously told Variety she had decided not to take part in the planned film after seeing her character’s lack of progression, and said co-stars Sarah, Cynthia Nixon, 56, and Kristin Davis, 57, ‘aren’t my friends.’
However Sarah claimed that it was not Kim who turned down the movie, but the studio, because they could not accept her ‘demands.’
Speaking candidly to Awards Chatter podcast, the actress, who plays Carrie Bradshaw in the franchise, said ‘it’s very hard’ to talk about the situation.
‘I’ve been so careful about not ever wanting to say anything that is unpleasant because it’s not the way I like to conduct conversations that are as complicated as this.

‘The studio, when we were going to do the third movie, there were things that she requested that they were not able to do – they didn’t feel comfortable meeting where she wanted to meet.
‘And so we didn’t do the movie because we didn’t want to do it without Kim and the studio wasn’t going to do it. So it fell apart.
‘It wasn’t that she said no to the movie. It’s that the studio said no to the movie, which you know happens,’ she said.
The six-time Golden Globe award-winner confessed to feeling disappointed and detailed ‘years of working really hard.’

She continued on the showbiz-based podcast: ‘Every actor has a right to ask for things, to have a contract that feels good to them. I never would have disputed that, because frankly that’s not my business. Were we disappointed? Sure. But it happens.
‘And then there were just a lot of public conversations about how she felt about the show – and once again, it’s not for me to say that, “You’re wrong, you know, it was for you a great thing.”
‘I’ve spent a lot of years working really hard to always be decent to everybody on the set, to take care of people, to be responsible to and for people, both my employers and the people that I feel I’m responsible for as a producer of the show.’
Sarah described her former co-star’s portrayal of self-proclaimed ‘try-sexual’ Samantha Jones as ‘wonderful’ and branded Kim ‘a huge contributor to the success.’
Painful: Parker also touched on the feud between her and Kim, saying, ‘There just isn’t anybody else who has talked about me in this way, so it’s very painful’; Pictured in 1998

Despite the third film being scrapped, Sarah, Cynthia who stars as Miranda, and Kristin Davis who portrays Charlotte, reprised their roles in a sequel series called And Just Like That… which premiered on HBO Max six months ago, without Kim, who claimed she found out about the show on social media.
Parker stated that Cattrall wasn’t expected to join the reboot. ‘She made it clear that it wasn’t something she wanted to pursue and it no longer felt comfortable to us, so it did not occur to us.’
Meanwhile Sarah’s Hocus Pocus 2 co-star Kathy Najimy recently expressed her support for Cattrall, sparking speculation that she was shading Parker.
Najimy, 65, raised eyebrows with a tweet calling the Filthy Rich actress ‘one of the best, most authentic humans in the ‘business’ and maybe the world!’
