Upcoming Jobs: We recently received news that the Nigerian Immigration Service is planning massive recruitment by 2023. This is good news for unemployed Nigerians seeking employment in the NIS. However, the Immigration Ministry has not yet issued any official notice. We will keep you posted as we get more details.
Current Updates:
The Nigeria Immigration Service has announced job openings for four positions in 2023. These positions are open to all Nigerians within the age limit and the application and recruitment process is free of charge. The application period will last for two weeks, after which a computer based test will be conducted.
The positions available are under the Superintendent Cadre, Inspectorate Cadre, and Assistant Cadre.
The Superintendent Cadre includes the rank of Superintendent of Immigration (SI) for professional doctors and 11 other professionals.
There is also a Deputy Superintendent of Immigration position for pharmacists.
The Inspectorate Cadre includes the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Immigration II (ASI) and is open to graduates with a BSc degree.
The Inspectorate Cadre is open to graduates with a National Diploma (ND), NCE or Advance NABTEB and the Assistant Cadre is open to Senior School Certificate holders (WAEC, NECO, or GCE).
