In a statement on Friday, the Management of the Regulatory Commission described the NERC job posting, which was broadcast on social media platforms, as inaccurate.
The commission said it had not approved any agency to publish such publications or conclude contracts in its own name. Management says that when it comes to recruiting new employees, it will adopt an open and transparent recruitment method.
The Commission said: “Fake Recruitment Announcement: The attention of the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (” NERC “or” Commission “) has been brought to an unwanted fake advertisement, entitled” Job Opportunities for the Nigerian Regulatory Commission (NERC) “.
“Incorrect advertisements lead applicants to apply to the ReStral website within 6 weeks of targeted advertisements. The Commission’s attention has been drawn to the fact that this erroneous advertisement is trending on several social media platforms.
“The Commission has notified members of the general public that NERC did not recruit or appoint / direct any agency to publish any publications on its behalf.
“The Commission further stated that, as a law-abiding and transparent government institution, the Commission will only adopt an open and transparent competitive recruitment process in accordance with the laws in force in Nigeria when it decides to undertake recruitment exercises. Such practice will be widely publicized with clear application deadlines in accordance with legal requirements. ”
Current Stats: At present, NERC Recruitment 2021 is not yet out.

- Possess a Higher National Diploma (HND) in Chemical, Process, Petroleum, Mining, Industrial, Mechanical or Electronics /Electrical Engineering, obtained at a minimum of Upper Credit Level
