Maya Jama is left in shock as Love Island’s Will and Casey become embroiled in row on Aftersun
Love Island host Maya Jama was left in shock during Sunday’s episode of Aftersun after a row broke out between Will Young and his pal Casey O’Gorman.
Farmer Will, 23, and recruitment consultant Casey, 26, were close friends on the show along with Tom Clare, quickly becoming known as the ‘three musketeers’.
However, the pals came into conflict on chat show Aftersun, where they both appeared live after Will and girlfriend Jessie Wynter were dumped from the villa.
While chatting to Maya, the couple were shown a clip from the ITV2 dating show when Casey told bombshell Maxwell Samuda that he thought Jessie, 26, was putting on ‘an act’.
When Will had originally confronted Casey about the conversation in the villa, Casey had insisted he thought Jessie was ‘genuine’ and blamed the chat on Maxwell, 23.

However, Will was left shocked after being shown the original video of Casey’s remarks, turning around and branding Casey a ‘snake’ as Maya, 28, looked shocked.
In the clip from the villa, Casey was heard telling Maxwell: ‘The more I’m seeing of Jessie, the more I think she’s playing a game.’
‘Honestly, it was one of the most strange interactions, the way she was speaking to me, it seemed like such an act,’ he added in another conversation.
Footage then showed Will confronting Casey about the chat, where Casey had insisted that Maxwell had wanted to speak with him, not the other way around.
When Will explained that Maxwell had told him both he and Casey thought Jessie wasn’t genuine, he reassured his pal, saying: ‘No, it’s got nothing to do with me and that’s what I said. He doesn’t feel she’s being genuine.’
Will then asked his pal: ‘Do you think she’s being genuine?’ to which Casey responded: ‘Yeah, I think she is.’
After the clips were aired in the studio, where Casey was watching on from the audience, tense gasps could be heard while Casey looked uncomfortable.
As Maya said: ‘Sorry to spill the tea like that,’ a gobsmacked Will pointed across to Casey and shouted ‘you snake’ while host Maya looked very shocked.

Casey was heard shouting back that they had ‘spoken about that’ before Maya asked Will how he felt after watching the footage.
Though he was smiling, Will said: ‘Do you know what it is a bit of a surprise. I did go up to Casey and was like “what are your thoughts, tell me?”.
‘I said so many times, look be honest with me, be open with me, that’s all you want in here.’
He concluded by shouting: ‘The boy lied!’
Casey then insisted that he had already told Will about his comments, saying: ‘Me and Will, straight after my conversation with Jessie, I said I felt like it was a complete act. Did I not?’
But Will hit back with: ‘Roll the tapes. Just roll the tapes.’
Not backing down, Casey said: ‘You know I did! You know I said that to you, that I felt she was acting!’
Maya then tried to diffuse the situation as she said they could talk about it after, before Jessie shared their thoughts on the footage.
She said: ‘Honestly if people want to sit there and back and judge me, you can do that, that’s your problem. Will and I are fine.’
As Jessie spoke, Will sassily clicked his fingers in his friend’s direction, but Casey looked unimpressed and could be seen mouthing ‘wow’.
It comes after Will and Jessie were dumped from the South African villa, narrowly missing out on the show’s grand finale, which will air on Monday night.
They were voted out after failing to secure the public vote after all of the couples were asked to pick which couple they thought was the least compatible.
Lana and Ron and Kai and Sanam also received votes from their fellow contestants, while Tanya and Shaq and Tom and Samie didn’t receive any.
After the Islanders voted, viewers were asked to pick who they believed was the least compatible, ultimately sending Will and Aussie Jessie home.
The Islanders were gutted to say goodbye to original cast member Will and bombshell Jessie following the shock announcement.
The couple were seen hugging goodbye to their co-stars as their exit marked the last time a duo would leave before the final.
Describing the bittersweet feeling of their exit, Will said: ‘Leaving Love Island is a very sad time, obviously.
‘Starting right at the beginning and almost making it to the end, you’re a little bit sad. However, I feel like I’ve found what I’m looking for in Jessie and made some lovely best friends along the way, too.’
He went on to reveal that his first plans with Jessie once they return home to the UK will be to get stuck in with lambing season at his farm.
Will also revealed he wouldn’t say no to an Australian move, admitting that he can’t rely on Jessie moving to suit his lifestyle in the UK.

Farewell! It comes after Will and Jessie were dumped from the South African villa, narrowly missing out on the show’s grand finale, which will air on Monday night
Will said: ‘I think it’s very fair to say I would go to Australia. A relationship is a two-way thing. It would be unfair for me to rely on Jessie moving here 100 per cent. Australia has always been a place I’d like to go to and travel.’
Will and Jessie both agreed that they would like Tom and Samie to go the distance and be crowned winners of the 2023 winter series.
Their exit came days after Jessie and Will made things official by becoming boyfriend and girlfriend during their final date together.
Reflecting on their new relationship status, Jessie said: ‘It would have been nice for us to get to the final, but I’ve left the Villa with Will and he’s my boyfriend, so that’s good!’
Love Island continues tomorrow night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
