In the latest teaser for the upcoming drama on Tuesday, the 44-year-old Pakistani-American actor can be seen dreaming of ‘luxury’ and ‘opulent lifestyle’ while working at a gas station.
His co-star Nicola Peltz portrays murdered Playboy Playmate Dorothy Stratten in the series, where she is seen proclaiming that ‘women get horny’ as she tries to convince a sceptical man that the business can be a success.

Dorothy Stratten was a Playboy model in the late 1970s who was murdered by her husband Paul Snider when she was just 20 years old.
Snider was a promoter and emcee for Chippendales, meaning Dorothy was a presence at the company during its early years.
After his boss compliments him in the trailer for being ‘hardworking’ and ‘reliable’ and offers him a promotion to general manager, Banerjee has a surprising answer.
‘I’m afraid I cannot accept. That was my dream when I got here, but my goals have changed, I have changed. I’m going to start my own business. A strip club for women,’ he explains.

‘Do you like looking at naked dudes?’ the man asked Dorothy next to him, who responds: ‘I have something to tell you, Paul, women get horny.’
As success comes, Nanjiani seemingly becomes more desperate as he talks about putting ‘every cent’ he had into this club.
He then gets a call from the FBI and is accused of being a ‘murderer.’
Despite his legal woes, he insists: ‘I have everything and I regret nothing.’

The show is based on K. Scot Macdonald and Patrick MontesDeOca’s book Deadly Dance: The Chippendales Murders, which was originally published in 2014.
The program will follow the life of Banerjee, who ultimately committed suicide in 1994 while awaiting sentencing after being charged with murder for hire, among other offenses.
The late businessman’s life had been adapted into several projects in the past, and he was played by Naveen Andrews in the 2000 television film The Chippendales Murder.
Nanjiani joined the series last year, and both he and his wife, Emily V. Gordon, serve as two of the show’s executive producers.
