Kourtney Kardashian’s drunk Vegas wedding album! Reality star shares snaps from 2am Elvis nuptials

Kourtney Kardashian has shared behind-the-scenes photos from her ‘epic’ drunk wedding in Vegas – but admitted the ceremony was not legally binding.

The 42-year-old and Travis Barker walked down the aisle at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas in the early hours of Monday morning, but she’s now confessed that they didn’t obtain a marriage license.

Alongside a series of photos from the ceremony, Kourtney wrote on Instagram: ‘Once upon a time in a land far, far away (Las Vegas) at 2am, after an epic night and a little tequila, a queen and her handsome king ventured out to the only open chapel with an Elvis and got married (with no license). (sic)’

In the photos, Kourtney and Travis, 46, are seen wearing leather jackets, while the brunette beauty is holding a bouquet of flowers.

She also confirmed that it was not an actual legal ceremony as they did not have a marriage license but it will help them for their actual wedding as she wrote ‘Practice makes perfect.’

Under her leather jacket Kourtney wore a yellow 2012 vintage Versace bustier with a huge crystal gothic cross down the middle as she and her man packed on the PDA by sharing several kisses.

They both also sported a pair of black designer sunglasses as Travis opted to show off his body art by going shirtless under the outerwear.

An Elvis impersonator, named Dean Diamond, officiated the wedding sporteing a shiny gold jacket and several matching chain necklaces with the King Of Rock ‘N Roll’s signature large shades.

Kourtney’s social media post was met with much joy from her celebrity family and friends in addition to her loyal followers as many commented on the post sending their love.

Travis commented on the post with two people wearing formalwear emojis with a female gender symbol in between as younger sister Kim replied with four house emojis.

Pal Simon Huck replied: ‘Who doesn’t love a Vegas dress rehearsal? [red heart emoji]’

Hitmaker Rosalia, Isabela Grutman, and La La Anthony also commented on the post.

While most of her family has yet to publicly respond, Paris Hilton commented: “Aw. So happy for you two! So perfect together!’

Travis later also shared his own gallery of photos with the caption: ‘What happens in Vegas.’

The impromptu ceremony, which occurred hours after the 2022 Grammy Awards, took place in front of an Elvis impersonator in a room with white walls adorned with pictures of orchids and matching drapery.

The owner of the family-run chapel has revealed the couple, worth a combined $115million, opted for the mid-range package, costing a bargain $199.

The duo exchanged vows under an altar decorated with silk roses with a wood ‘love’ sign.

The chapel’s wedding packages range in price from $99-$699, with the couple purchasing the One Love Affair package for $199, paying extra for the Elvis impersonator, according to In Touch.

The priciest package includes a limo, photo shoot, a wedding concierge, choice of love song, a fresh rose bouquet and garter belt for the bride, wedding video and a rose petal entrance, but the Kravis’ budget ceremony was a simpler affair which lasted 30-40 minutes.

It was a private early morning wedding, according to TMZ, who reported that the pair did not allow the venue to take any photos and opted to bring their own photographer and security.

Insiders close to the couple initially said they came prepared with a marriage license which they presented to the chapel’s owner, who also served as a witness.

However, a source at the chapel later told TMZ that they did not actually get a license and therefore the marriage is not ‘legal.’ There is no record of the couple applying or receiving a marriage license at Clark County.

The website for the One Love Wedding Chapel also explicitly states: ‘A legal marriage license must be obtained prior to the marriage ceremony.’

Diamond opened up to The Sun about serving as their Elvis impersonator after the couple called him in the middle of the night.

‘It was like 12:30 at night and they wanted me to be down there at 1 o’clock, then he called me back and said, ‘No, they’re gonna be late, it’s not gonna be till 2,’ he recalled.

‘I almost changed my mind I said, ‘I don’t know if that’s too late because I’ve got weddings the next day’, then he said ‘we’ll sweeten the pot, we’ll give you more money, it’s going to be a celebrity.”

Dean also revealed the couple were giggling when they arrived and locked lips as he sang Can’t Help Falling in Love in addition to A Mess Of Blues to them.

‘I talked to them, I said, we’re gonna do two songs. You’re gonna do the Elvis vows. They didn’t have any vows of their own. They had rings on already. So we did the ring ceremony together,’ he added.

When asked if the lovebirds had been drinking, he answered: ‘They had. But you know what I’m looking at is how they say their vows. How clear is their speech? Their speech was extremely clear and Travis is looking at her, you know like the way I look at my wife.’

The couple are said to be planning ‘several’ other wedding celebrations to follow.

A source told People: ‘They had a great time in Las Vegas. The wedding was a cute last-minute celebration of their love. It wasn’t planned and they didn’t have a marriage license.’

‘It was Travis’ idea and Kourtney was excited. They are planning a small wedding for later this year. This was a fun practice run,’ the insider added.

Of the nuptials, One Love Wedding Chapel owner Marty Frierson told People: ‘I didn’t know who it was until they pulled up. I advertise as 24 hours but they wanted to make sure I was still there. They paid and they requested Elvis Presley, that was mandatory. I called back five minutes later and was like, I got an Elvis, and there they were.’

‘They came, got married, tossed the bouquet in the driveway, and danced to Elvis,’ Frierson said. ‘They showed a lot of love and had a lot of fun.’

Frierson added: ‘There was a lot of that – kissing and hugging. They barely came up for air! They just seemed totally in love.’

He also revealed that Kravis’ wedding party consisted of four people in total, with guests documenting the happy occasion on their phones.

‘They all had iPhones, taking pictures and videos from every angle,’ he revealed. ‘I don’t know if they were the friends or their social media team. They filmed everything from the time they walked in, to the time they walked out. The vows, the kiss, the rose bouquet toss, the dancing. I usually take pictures for the chapel but they wanted to handle it all themselves.’

The One Love Wedding Chapel is a family owned 24-hour wedding venue that is in Downtown Las Vegas that is a six-mile drive from where the Grammys took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

It’s been reported that the happy couple had been working out a prenup but nothing had been signed prior to Monday morning’s Las Vegas wedding, according to sources from TMZ.

However, a prenup may be irrelevant if the couple did not obtain a marriage license in Nevada. Without a marriage license, the union would not be legally binding.

Insiders told the publication that the plan for now is to do a postnup which should be handled without issue as Kourtney is worth around $65million compared to around $50million for Travis.

The site compared the couple to Kourtney’s sister Kim Kardashian and Kanye West as they noted that prenups and postnups at that level of wealth typically separate earnings during the marriage, meaning what they bring into the marriage will stay as separate property.

The marriage marks Kourtney’s first and Travis’ third.

Their children did not seem to have been in attendance as Kourtney shares three children – 12-year-old son Mason, nine-year-old daughter Penelope, and seven-year-old son Reign – with longtime ex-boyfriend Scott Disick.

Travis is father to 16-year-old daughter Alabama and 18-year-old son Landon, whom he had with ex-wife Shanna Moakler. He also raised Atiana De La Hoya, 23, who is Shanna’s daughter with ex-boyfriend and boxer Oscar De La Hoya.

It was also a night for PDA, as Kourtney and Travis couldn’t keep their hands — and tongues — to themselves on the Grammys red carpet and during the actual show hours prior to the wedding ceremony.

The lovebirds shared some tongue kisses on the red carpet, and they kept the passionate displays going inside the ceremony when Travis wasn’t on stage.

At one point, Kourtney playfully gripped Travis face to open his mouth as they made out among a sea of people.

During the broadcast, Kourtney could be seen beaming proudly from ear-to-ear as she watched her love on the drums.

As she clapped enthusiastically during Travis’ performance where he was joined by H.E.R. and Lenny Kravitz, she highlighted her massive diamond engagement ring on her gloved hand.

The songstress opened by fronting a performance of Damage with Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis of Damage, but after she played her own drum solo, she invited Travis out to play on We Made It with her.

The duet turned into a power trio with two virtuoso guitarists when Lenny Kravitz joined to play his tune Are You Gonna Go My Way?, with him and H.E.R. shredding and trading off on fierce solos.

Travis kept the energy high, adding a hard-rocking punk feel to the performance.

Kourtney and Travis famously were engaged during a romantic beachside proposal in Montecito, California, in October.

Barker’s daughter Alabama, now 16, shared a first look at the massive sparkler — which was oval-shaped and appeared to be at least 15 carats and designed by jeweler Lorraine Schwartz — as they enjoyed an intimate engagement dinner with family and friends after the proposal, with additional footage shared throughout the evening. The ring is estimated to be worth at least $1million.

The proposal took place at 6:30 pm; family members from both sides were in attendance to usher in the happy couple.

The loved-up duo were longtime friends for a decade, before they began dating in the latter part of 2020, and went Instagram official just after Valentine’s Day 2021.

Back in August, Kourtney had also given the drummer the strength to fly for the first time in nearly 13 years following a plane crash that killed four and left him with burns on 65% of his body. He shared a snap of the pair embracing by Kylie Jenner’s private jet after he took his first flight (to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico) in August and wrote ‘anywhere with you.’

Prior to Barker, Kourtney had dated Algerian model Younes Bendjima from 2016 to 2018, and was in a very tumultuous on-off relationship with Disick.

Kourtney and Scott first began dating in 2006 and were in a very on-off relationship for nearly a decade that was wrought with cheating and substance fueled outbursts that tore them apart. They finally called it quits in 2015, but he had made it known numerous times he would be holding out for her.

Scott confessed that Kourtney would ‘always be a priority’ and had tried to rekindle a few times. During the Keeping Up With The Kardashians reunion (at which point she was already dating Barker) Kourtney spoke about her final straw breaker with Scott and said: ‘I think the substance abuse was the deal-breaker.’

He had begrudgingly given her and Barker his blessing as he said: ‘I think if you really love somebody, you want them to be happy no matter what. So I do give her a blessing to be happy,’ but seemed to air his real feelings just months later in a DM to her ex Younes.

The message from the Talentless designer slammed Kourtney’s PDA with Barker as he shared a photo of the pair making out, and read: ‘Yo is this chick ok!??? Broo like what is this. In the middle of Italy.’

Disick was said to be ‘riled up’ because her new romance was affecting their relationship — which was close and good relative to co-parenting. ‘It’s more strained than ever,’ an Us Weekly insider said.

And PEOPLE reported that he could not accept she was ‘happy with someone else.’ ‘Scott has always had a difficult time accepting that Kourtney is happy with someone else. He is especially threatened by her relationship with Travis.’

Prior to Kourtney, Barker had been married to Shanna Moakler from 2004 to 2008. They share two biological kids Landon and Alabama and Barker had stepped up as a father figure to her eldest Atiana De La Hoya, from her relationship with Oscar De La Hoya.

Before that he was married to a woman named Melissa Kennedy for nine months. He filed for divorce in August 2002.
