Khloe Kardashian shares quote on ‘allowing God to heal you without becoming like those who hurt you’

Khloe Kardashian shared a cryptic quote to her Instagram Story this Friday, in a move sure to send fan conjecture into overdrive.

The 38-year-old recently denied the ‘lies’ that she is back together with her serially unfaithful ex Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares two children.

She most recently split with Tristan in mid-2021, then a year later, it emerged that he had fathered a baby with another woman, named Maralee Nichols, after rekindling with the reality star.

By the time Nichols and Tristan’s son Theo was born at the end of 2021, Khloe and Tristan’s surrogate was already pregnant with their own new son, Tatum.

Seemingly nodding to overcoming the drama, the TV personality shared a quote, which read: ‘The real flex is allowing God to heal you without becoming like those who hurt you.’

Another meme she shared that day read: ‘As you get older, you really just want to be surrounded by good people. People that are good for you, good to you, and good for your soul,’ and concluded with a heart.

The posts come after Khloe furiously repudiated a spate of fan rumors that she and Tristan had decided to rekindle their relationship.

Khloe’s big sister Kim Kardashian had been seen attending Tristan’s NBA games, prompting the gossip page DeuxMoi to hint at a reconciliation.

‘Allegedly he’s back with Koko so maybe she’s soft launching the idea so everyone is prepared & doesn’t give Koko a hard time,’ DeuxMoi claimed.

When a fan account on Instagram got wind of the rumor and posted it, Khloe fired off a lengthy comment denying she and Tristan are back on.

‘Stop pushing this narrative. It’s tiring. But I suppose You guys will continue the narrative you want regardless of what I say so what’s the point. It’s exhausting but I learned people will only understand to the level of their own perception,’ she wrote.

‘Most are stuck at believing the lies because it’s the narrative they want to fuel. Have fun…. Some things are just as simple as they seem. A family member supporting another family member ESPECIALLY during a difficult time in life.’

Tristan lost his mother in January – and in a show of their lingering bond, Khloe, Kim and their mother Kris Jenner accompanied him to Vancouver for the funeral.

In her new Instagram comment Khloe raised the example of her sister Kourtney Kardashian’s ex Scott Disick, with whom Kourtney shares three children.

Khloe noted ‘how I support scott and will forever support him. He’s my brother. It’s just not on an nba stage. Sad new world, If there’s no photos people think it really didn’t happen but yes, I see Scott often. Some things really are just as they are.’

Tristan and Khloe’s five-year on-off relationship ended for the latest time in 2021 , and that December DailyMail.com exclusively revealed the NBA star had fathered a child with personal trainer Maralee Nichols while he was still involved with Khloe.

The duo dated sporadically between 2016 and 2021, despite the relationship being rocked by the sportsman’s repeated cheating scandals.

Along with baby Tatum, the pair share a five-year-old daughter called True whom they welcomed into the world in April 2018.

Less than 48 hours before True was born, DailyMail.com exclusively broke news of Tristan’s alleged fling with New York City strip club bartender Lani Blair.

He and Khloe remained together then, but broke up in 2019 after Tristan shared a kiss at a party with Kylie Jenner’s then best friend Jordyn Woods.

When the coronavirus lockdowns struck, Tristan and Khloe moved in together so they could both be with True – and wound up rekindling their romance as well.

Reports of their latest split began circulating in June 2021 as Tristan found himself denying a swirl of rumors about his fidelity.

Then DailyMail.com exclusively obtained court documents in late 2021 claiming Tristan was having a baby by Maralee.

Maralee gave birth on December 1 and released a statement a couple of weeks later along with the first public pictures of her son.

Tristan fired up his Instagram in January 2022 and confessed for the first time that he was the father of Maralee’s baby, having established the fact via a paternity test.

Khloe unleashed a furious tirade against her ex in the season one finale of The Kardashians, which aired last June, after learning about Tristan and Maralee’s baby.

She made the shock discovery about Tristan when her sister Kim Kardashian, 41, read a story on DailyMail.com, which exclusively revealed the news that the former NBA player had admitted to fathering a child in court papers.

An emotional Khloe was seen breaking down in tears as she slammed Tristan for ‘humiliating’ her with another public scandal.

‘I called him and was just like, what have you got to say? It was more yelling on my end, but him talking, trying to plead his case. There’s not much to talk about in my opinion,’ Khloe said later in the episode.

‘It’s a joke, it’s gross, it’s a joke, it’s embarrassing, it’s disgusting, we’re all over it. I’m like, I didn’t buy tickets to this f***ing circus but somehow I’m watching all these clowns act out in front of me,’ she added.

‘I want a refund, return to sender, I don’t want to be at this show. Somehow the clowns keep coming back in this f***ing clown car and no matter what he says nothing’s going to give me the answers that I’m looking for, the closure.’

Khloe first became involved with Tristan when his ex-girlfriend Jordan Craig was still pregnant with his eldest son Prince, six.

Although Jordan claimed she was still with Tristan when he took up with Khloe, the reality star has insisted she thought he was single at the time.
