Results are accomplished via lymphatic drainage massages and a plant-based diet heavy on hypo-allergenic food, which sees the likes of Victoria limit themselves to only 1,000 calories per day.
Purging themselves with 30 hours of fasting, residents hoping for a ‘cure’ abstain from caffeine, sugars, animal proteins as well as alcohol and, as part of the ‘comprehensive’ package, undergo six hydro-aromatherapy sessions.
Here visitors are plunged into a vast, hot bath where changing lights, a plethora of jets and essential oils encourage lymphatic circulation.
Six phyto-mud sessions see hopefuls paintbrushed with the warm sludge on a water bed before being smothered in plastic, covered with a large duvet and left for 30 minutes to sweat out toxins.
