I’m A Celebrity 2021: Naughty Boy and Kadeena Cox are at loggerheads again over the cooking
Food can often be at the centre of a heated altercation on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and Saturday’s episode saw Naughty Boy and Kadeena Cox at loggerheads once again over the all-important chef duties.
This was not the first time the DJ, 40, and the parasport athlete, 30, have clashed over the cooking, with previous scenes showing Kadeena offering her advice on preparing oxtail, not to Naughty Boy’s satisfaction.
On Saturday however, the pair this time locked horns over rice.
Oh dear: Food is often at the centre of any heated altercation on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! and Saturday’s episode saw Naughty Boy and Kadeena Cox (pictured) at loggerheads once again over the all-important chef duties
Naughty Boy told Kadeena at lunch: ‘We don’t need to cook that now if we’re not going to eat it. That’s all the rice we have for tonight.’
‘Yes because all the rice was cooked already,’ she retorted, to which Naughty Boy snapped: ‘There’s no need to get like that.’
After the conversation went in circles, the Leeds-born sportswoman said she was tired and had ‘literally repeated herself a million times’ which was ‘a bit annoying.’
History repeating: This was not the first time the DJ, 40 (pictured) and the parasport athlete, 30, have clashed over the cooking, with previous scenes showing Kadeena offering her advice on preparing oxtail, not to Naughty Boy’s satisfaction
Loggerheads: Naughty Boy told Kadeena at lunch: ‘We don’t need to cook that now if we’re not going to eat it. That’s all the rice we have for tonight’, triggering their bicker
Retorting: After the conversation went in circles, the Leeds-born sportswoman said she was tired and had ‘literally repeated herself a million times’ which was ‘a bit annoying’
Sad: The tiredness and frustration soon hit an emotional Kadeena and she cried in the hammock, consoled by Snoochie Shy and Louise Minchin
Naughty Boy, who, at the beginning of the episode hilariously discovered he was sleeping the wrong way in his hammock, fired back: ‘The reason you’re having to repeat yourself is because I’m trying to understand what’s going on. You don’t need to get a***y with me, you really are. I’m speaking to you respectfully.’
He added: ‘I’m not getting respect back,’ before walking away from the conversation.

Later on, the pair decided to make up, with Kadeena telling Naughty Boy she wanted them to ‘respect how each other feel’ and ‘move forward.’

Kadeena added: ‘You are one of the people I wanted to get to know.’
The record producer reassured: ‘We are getting to know each other. It’s not that we’re not getting on. I don’t want you to even think that…. [we’ll] make friends for life [in here]. I don’t want to lose that.’
They hugged and Kadeena said: ‘I appreciate that, I really appreciate you speaking to me.’

Hiccup: The music producer hilariously discovered at the beginning of the episode he was sleeping the wrong way in his hammock
Naughty Boy had to turn his thoughts away from the row as he faced the Trial – Cells Of Hell – with Adam Woodyatt and David Ginola.
On arrival, the musician told hosts Ant and Dec: ‘I’ve been wanting these two to do a Trial and I’m just really excited that I’m the one to do it with them.’
Ant explained the proceedings: ‘You’ll each be locked in a separate cell. The object of the Trial is to open the lockers in the third cell and retrieve the 11 stars inside. You’ll only be able to do that by retrieving the keys from the lockers in the previous two cells and pass them on. You’ve got 11 minutes to do that.’
Only stars in the bag at the end counted as a meal.
Teamwork: Naughty Boy had to turn his thoughts away from rice as he faced the Trial – Cells Of Hell – with Adam Woodyatt (r) and David Ginola (l)
As they worked, they were pelted with rotten fruit, offal and more gunk, making the keys harder to find.
French football ace David soon found a rhythm and they ended up ahead of themselves as Naughty Boy struggled to open his padlocks.
As a result, Adam, best known for starring as EastEnders’ Ian Beale, started dropping the keys onto the floor in Naughty Boy’s cell – who was struggling to get the stars in the bag.
Naughty Boy asked: ‘How am I supposed to do this being pelted?’
Gross: As they worked, they were pelted with rotten fruit, offal and more gunk, making the keys harder to find
Tough: French football ace David soon found a rhythm and they ended up ahead of themselves as Naughty Boy struggled to open his padlocks
Adam told David to stop collecting keys and said: ‘It’s kind of pointless, he’s got six keys on the floor.’
After the Trial ended, it was confirmed they’d collected 4 out of 11 stars.
Naughty Boy said to Ant and Dec: ‘I’m disappointed as I’m the one who could have got another three.’

David comforted him: ‘Don’t worry about that. Out of five games you can have a bad one,’ to which Naughty Boy replied: ‘Is it the same with football?’
Adam joked: ‘Yeah, I’ve seen one of the worst games he’s [David] ever played… sorry!’
David asked: ‘Coventry?’ and Adam laughed, saying, ‘Yeah, that’s the one.’

Earlier in the episode, Adam and Arlene Phillips, Kadeena and Louise and Danny Miller and David took on the first instalment of a two-part challenge, The Lair, in pairs.
They were shackled together in their twos inside a cages, with the aim to escape and ring the bell. As soon as the the klaxon had sounded, they could move the key around the maze on the front of the cage, and once it was released, they could escape and ring the bell.
‘You will visit the Wishing Well in the order you escape from the cages. The first pair to escape will have the pick of all the wishes. The second pair can choose from the remainder and the last pair will get to choose whatever’s left. Good luck and remember, be careful what you wish for,’ Adam read out.

Former Emmerdale star Danny and David were the champs and therefore first to the Wishing Well.
They chose a coin which offered either a duvet and pillow for two or sleeping on the floor in the living quarters – and flipping the coin earned them the latter.
An unperturbed David said: ‘We were sleeping on the floor anyway when we were in The Clink so it’s not something we don’t know.’

Remaining optimistic: They chose a coin which offered either a duvet and pillow for two or sleeping on the floor in the living quarters – and flipping the coin earned them the latter
Adam and Arlene arrived second and opted to leave the coin which could earn a phone call home for Louise and Kadeena.
Arlene said, despite hating The Clink, that it is ‘home’ and risked dinner in her former camp in the hope of landing the treat on the other side – two slices of pizza.
Unfortunately, they missed out on the treat and won themselves a dinner in The Clink together.
Selfless: Adam and Arlene arrived second and opted to leave the coin which could earn a phone call home for Louise and Kadeena

Kadeena said Louise could have the call if they won: ‘I’ll be grand without it. You’ve got your husband and kids.’
A tearful Louise replied: ‘Oh, you’re so sweet! I’m going to cry… I would love a phone call home and I don’t mind doing the Trial.’
After successfully flipping the coin, journalist Louise enthused: ‘I love you Kadeena. I’m speechless with what Kadeena has done. That’s the biggest gift she could give me at this point. I’m so thankful.’
Grateful: ‘That’s the biggest gift she could give me at this point. I’m so thankful,’ Louise enthused
Having a moment: During the call, Louise’s husband David told her: ‘You’re doing brilliantly darling, we’re totally proud of what you’re doing’

During the call, Louise’s husband David told her: ‘You’re doing brilliantly darling, we’re totally proud of what you’re doing. Your beautiful, kind, warm self comes across on the telly. Your lovely kind, caring nature – oh, I’m going to cry.’
Louise’s daughters could also be heard telling her how well she was doing, jokingly adding: ‘Keep brushing your hair! Well done.’
The camp all hugged and cried as they listened in, with one campmate, choreographer Arlene, taking a minute for herself.
‘That need and want to speak to my family, to be in contact is really hitting me very hard and I realise how long I’ve been away and I’m finding it hard,’ she admitted.
It was announced that Naughty Boy would be joining Matty Lee for Sunday night’s Trial, Gross Vegas.
