LAGOS, NIGERIA – November 27, 2023 – In a bid to stimulate the fourth industrial revolution via technology, the Nigerian government has opened an application for its Agriculture Demonstration Project, offering a grant of N10 million.
About the Project
The project, announced by the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy, Bosun Tijani, aims to identify and mainstream market-ready innovations that leverage Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) technologies like UAV, IoT, AI, and Blockchain to enhance productivity and sustainability in the agricultural sector.
“Our intent is to encourage and inspire the use of technology, especially 4IR technologies, to optimize different sectors of our economy,” Tijani said.
