EastEnders hunk Danny Walters, 28, looks worlds away from bad boy character Keanu Taylor

Former EastEnders star Danny Walters looked worlds away from his bad boy character Keanu Taylor as he revealed his brand new look on Sunday.

The actor, who starred on the soap from 2017 to 2020, was inundated with compliments from fans on the snap.

Famous in the show for his buzz cut and tracksuit, the 28-year-old showed off his new look as he sported longer locks and stubble.

Danny posted the snap to Instagram as he shared a glimpse of his break to Amsterdam with fans.

The actor sported tousled dark hair which blew in the wind as well as a stubble beard and moustache.

Danny wore a juniper green gilet over a black shirt and cerulean jeans, completing the looking with a chic pair of aviator shades.

He accessorised the look with a white baseball cap which hung from his waist band, a silver necklace, black bracelets and a smart watch.

Captioning the shot, Danny wrote: ‘The moment you realise you’re a tourist in Amsterdam but dressed like @prattprattpratt from Jurassic World / a film director #action’ – in reference to movie star Chris Pratt. 

Fans were quick to commend on his new style, as one wrote: ‘Cracked me up, you still look fantastic’.

While another added: ‘Still best looking chap there lad’.

And a third agreed writing:  ‘Suits you tho’.

Danny also shared another snap from his trip alongside his reality star girlfriend Maddi Faircloth.

In the photo Danny hides his long locks under a baseball cap as the pair posed in front of one of the city’s famous canals.

Maddi beams for the cameras in a chic black leather jacket and funky magenta print trousers accompanied by a Dior handbag worn across her body.

The couple who have been together since late 2021 have kept from posting too often on social media.

A source said: ‘Danny is smitten with Maddi but wanted to keep the relationship low profile.

‘It’s still early days but they enjoyed spending Christmas together and pals believe they’ll get even more serious. Everyone is chuffed to bits for them as they get on so well.’

Maddi, who is a data analyst and sells her own artwork, starred on Channel 4 series Shipmates in 2019, where she took part in epic pool parties onboard a luxury cruise liner around the Med.

The show was labelled ‘Love Island on a ship’ and received mixed reviews from critics, including one which branded the show ‘a ghastly tableau of sun, sex and swollen genitals.’

Maddi’s five-person team, made up of close pals, competed against a rival group in a series of tasks in a bid to gain votes from 1,500 party-loving passengers to be crowned the ship’s most popular team – and win a holiday to Bali.

In the opening episode, tattooed Maddi openly discusses her breasts, revealing she has a collection of moles around her nipples which she refers to as ‘the solar system.’

Danny left EastEnders in 2020 when his character Keanu emigrated to Spain following his fling with Sharon Watts, which resulted in their birth of youngest son Albie, behind her partner Phil Mitchell’s back.

Keanu had also just fathered daughter Peggy with Louise Mitchell, Sharon’s stepdaughter.

Sharon blamed Keanu for the death of her son Denny, when Phil, eager for revenge, threw the mechanic against the wheel of a party boat on the River Thames causing it to crash, claiming the life of her beloved child.

However, viewers later discovered Sharon’s close friend Ian Beale had locked Denny inside room below deck before the crash and was unable to escape alive.
