Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford are featured in ITV’s new Christmas advert despite being demoted on This Morning.
The couple both appear in the new festive ad featuring some of the channel’s most well known presenters.
The pair are featured on This Morning in the clip with animated crowns and Santa hats as the station encourages its viewers to get into the holiday spirit.

Eamonn, 61, and Ruth, 60, are also seen surrounded by Christmas presents with snowflakes falling in the background.
The couple are being replaced on This Morning on Fridays by Alison Hammond, who also features in the ad, and Dermot O’Leary.
Alison appears in the advert dressed in a Santa costume carrying a large bag of presents.

Lorraine was transformed into an angel for the ad while her fill-in host Christine Lampard and Andi Peters both became elves.
It comes after Gloria Hunniford claimed Eamonn and Ruth are finding it hard to understand This Morning’s recent shake-up.
Eamonn and Ruth, who have presented This Morning for 14 years will be demoted to hosting the ITV favourite during holidays.

Speaking of the reshuffle, Loose Women’s Gloria, 80, who is close friends with the pair, said: ‘That one was very hard to understand – I don’t fully understand the reasons behind it.
She told The Mirror: ‘I’ve talked to Eamonn since, and he’s clearly disappointed.
‘I think they find it very difficult to understand why the change.’

The incoming presenters will begin their new coveted jobs on January 8, joining a lineup that also includes main hosts Phillip, 58, and Holly, 39.
Breaking her silence on the shake-up following weeks of speculation, Alison said: ‘I never dreamt that when I first joined This Morning – initially for a few months – that I would still be there 19 years later.
‘I genuinely care about the show and the viewers who watch, so it’s a huge privilege and honour to be hosting a show I adore so much. I’m just really excited to be doing even more of what I love alongside the lovely Dermot.’

Sharing his own statement, co-host Dermot, 47, said: ‘I’m deeply thrilled and honoured to be joining the This Morning team next year. We have huge shoes to fill and we are well aware what a privilege it is to be stepping into them.’
Last week, Alison shared a cryptic message, as she took to her Instagram account to tell her followers that ‘strong people don’t tear down others’.
Days earlier, Ruth was forced to deny she was making a dig at Alison, after it was revealed the former Big Brother star will replace her on the flagship daytime show.
An interview resurfaced where Ruth criticised reality stars and their rise to fame, saying she and Eamonn ‘didn’t get an overnight job on the telly’ and ‘had to come up through the ranks’.

Amid the ongoing drama, Alison posted a cartoon picture of a girl and a dolphin rising to the surface of the ocean together, with the words: ‘Strong people don’t put others down. They lift them up.’
But Ruth denied that her comments were ‘directed at anyone in particular’ with her spokesperson stating: ‘The comments from Ruth were made as a general observation in an interview conducted more than six weeks ago, about the industry and different routes into the business.
‘Ruth was simply illustrating a point that whereas some presenters launch their careers by being on other TV programmes first, her and Eamonn’s experience and career paths had taken a different and more traditional path.
‘This wasn’t directed at anyone in particular – indeed she has always been supportive of a number of her professional colleagues and friends who have taken this route.’
News of the This Morning line-up comes just five months after This Morning editor Martin Frizell told staff that he was planning to hire a black presenter.
During a video conference with staff in June, he said: ‘There is not a black presenter on any of the programmes today. We plan to change that, we [This Morning] are looking into that.’
