Cabrales-Arzola, is reportedly a 26 year old Mexican architect who obtained her degree from Universidad de Monterrey, in San Pedro Garza García, Mexico.

Since November 2019, she has worked as the Lead project manager in execution at Atrio Interiores, according to her employment profile.

In November 2021, Cabrales-Arzola made headlines after she was left at a hospital in the Los Angeles area following a night out with her friend, Christy Giles, 24.

She was last seen on November 12 at a warehouse party and turned up the next day.

The model shared a series of pictures with her nearly 18,000 followers to celebrate her 24th birthday.

Her last post was published on November 7, less than a week before her death.

WHAT WAS CHRISTY’S CAUSE OF DEATH?

Her cause of death has currently not been confirmed.

The LAPD told Eyewitness News that a preliminary investigation revealed her death may have been caused by a heroin overdose.

Giles’ family alleges she may have been drugged and left outside of the hospital following her night out.

‘NOT VOLUNTARILY’

Jan Cilliers, the husband of late model Christy Giles, told KTLA heroin was found in his wife’s system but indicated that neither she nor the woman she was with, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, would take the drug.

“Hilda’s toxicology report came back, and I guess they found heroin in her system, which is nothing that either of those girls would ever do, not voluntarily,” Jan said.

CHRISTY GILES’ FINAL MESSAGE

A last text message that was sent by a model before she was found dead on a sidewalk has been revealed.

Now Christy Giles‘ husband, Jan Cilliers, has revealed the final message that his wife sent before her sudden death.

Jan told ABC7 he has obtained “all the messages [Christy] exchanged with anybody else that night,” revealing that she was texting Hilda “let’s get out of here” at around 5.30am.

He added that based on information stored on their iCloud, he does not believe Christy checked or answered any messages afterward.

People on social media are speculating about exactly what happened to Christy Giles and her friend Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola.

“way too close to home- LA people, modeling community, etc if you know anything about this please speak up so a strong case can be built. They need to put away the men who did this to Christy Giles and her friend Marcela,” one person wrote on Twitter.

CASE UNDER INVESTIGATION

Giles was last seen on November 12 attending a warehouse party in Los Angeles with her friend, Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, and was reportedly dropped off at a hospital by three men in an all-black with masked in bandanas and license plates removed from their vehicle hours later.

Cabrales-Arzola was also dropped off at a different hospital where she was put on life support with no brain activity and with “little possibility of recovery,” according to Giles’ husband Jan Cilliers.

At this time, it remains unclear what exactly happened to the two and the case is still under investigation.

After Christy Giles’ sudden, tragic death, her husband Jan Cilliers released a statement, calling the news “heartbreaking.”

Before her sudden death, 24-year-old Los Angeles model Christy Giles tied the knot with Jan Cilliers.

Cilliers is known professionally as a visual effect supervisor and artist by trade, according to his website.

These funds are going towards the investigations of both Christy and Hilda’s cases,” it claims.

“Two hours later the same vehicle with two masked men dropped her friend, Hilda off at a different hospital,” the GoFundMe continued.

“Hilda currently remains on life support with no brain activity with little possibility of recovery.”

It went on to say that the story “is by no means unique.”

“Since Saturday we’ve all received a number of messages from other females who have eerily similar stories, except the only difference between them & Christy and Hilda, is they survived,” the description claims.

A GoFundMe set up by the family alleges that three men in all black, masked in bandanas, dropped off Christy on the sidewalk of the hospital.

“On Saturday November 13th Christy & her friend Hilda were allegedly drugged,” the description claims.

“Twelve hours later three men in an all black, masked in bandanas; with license plates removed, dropped Christy off on the sidewalk of a hospital.”

“Christy was already lifeless and pronounced dead at the scene,” it revealed.

WHAT HAPPENED TO HILDA MARCELA CABRALES-ARZOLA?

Giles and her friend, designer Hilda Marcela Cabrales-Arzola, were last heard from on Friday, November 12 when the two were on a night out.

Giles’ family alleges that three men in all black, masked in bandanas dropped Giles off at a hospital using a car “with license plates removed.”

A GoFundMe started by her family also states that Cabrales-Arzola was allegedly dropped off at a different hospital.

The designer is currently in critical condition and “remains on life support with no brain activity with little possibility of recovery,” ABC7 reported.

The model’s body was reportedly left on the sidewalk outside Southern California Hospital at Culver City.

She was pronounced dead at the scene on November 13, 2021.
