Drama brewing: A first look at Selling Sunset season four sees reigning real estate queen Christine Quinn on the verge of getting ousted by newcomer Emma Hernan as the hit Netflix show returns with new drama and new girls
The nearly two minute trailer opens with Oppenheim co-founder Jason Oppenheim telling the office that newcomer Vanessa Villela would be filling a vacancy after longtime cast member Davina Potratz leaves the agency for good.
‘I’ve had a lot of experiences where I’ve worked with women who are competitive, and I know how to deal with that,’ Villela, a former Mexican-American soap star says of the intimidating bunch of beauties.
It’s later teased in the trailer that Vilella seems to butt heads with veteran castmate Mary Fitzgerald as she is silenced by her repeatedly in a meeting.
But the drama does not stop there as it is revealed that longtime Oppenheim Group agent Emma Hernan (who has not appeared on camera yet) will be taking over some of Christine’s listings amid her maternity leave.

It’s also teased that one of the new ladies — seemingly Hernan — was engaged to Christine’s ex two months after they broke up, as she confides in Viella.
A vulnerable Quinn says ‘I’m not really sure what I’ve done wrong,’ of her seeming disassociation with the group of ladies — despite being the major source of drama in past seasons.

Others wronged by Quinn including Chrishell Stause teases that she will not be walked on this season.
‘I don’t hold a grudge, but I do hold people accountable,’ Stause says and later continues to express discontent with her seeming return as she says ‘You’re coming back to the turf that we’ve built.’
Her drama with Christine spans back to the end of season one when she implied that Chrishelle was not being honest about her divorce from Justin Hartley.

Talking smack: Both Young (left) and Stause (right) have struggled with Quinn on a personal and professional level, and its teased that ultimately things may come to a head this season
More drama: It also seems as if Fitzgerald (left) butts heads with Villela on a few occasions, as the newcomer quickly learns that each day brings new drama
The whole cast continues to be disenchanted with Quinn after years of toxicity, with Heather Rae Young (who seemed to uninvite her to her recent wedding to Tarek El Moussa) asks ‘I don’t know why she cares she has a baby and a husband.’
The trailer teases several confrontations between multiple ladies, with lots of ‘she said, she said’ moments throughout the footage. ‘In the end the truth will always come out,’ it is maintained above all.
The full cast of ladies and then some are back for season four — which is set to hit Netflix on November 24 — and production on season five has been underway for some time.
Additionally it was announced this week that the streaming giant also greenlit a spinoff called Selling the OC, which will follow Oppenheim as he opens a new office in Newport Beach, California.
