Candace Cameron Bure laughs off unexpected JoJo Siwa-themed art kit amid drama between the two stars

Candace Cameron Bure burst out into laughter on Thursday as she took to Instagram to reveal that she got a JoJo Siwa-themed Diamond painting kit delivered to her.

‘Coincidence or just weird timing?’ the Full House star, 46, asked, moments after receiving the unexpected gift amid her ongoing drama with JoJo, 19.

‘I find this really funny,’ Bure began in the clip, but quickly paused when she burst out into laughter. After regaining her composure, she went on to share that the gift came ‘from a public relations company.’

Bure then flipped the camera around to reveal that Diamond Art Club sent her the Siwa-theme kit that came complete with JoJo’s likeness on the cover.

Inside the delivered box was a personalized note that read: ‘Candace hope you love this JoJo Siwa x @diamondartclub gift! xx Diamond Art Club.’

The gift came in the mail after the former Dance Moms star referred to Cameron as the ‘rudest’ celebrity she’s ever met in a TikTok that went viral last week.

After turning the camera back on to herself, the Los Angeles native admitted that she wondered whether the present was a ‘coincidence or just weird timing.’

Still obviously holding back he laughter the actress added, ‘I don’t know but it looks really cute, and when one of my goddaughters comes over we’re going to do this.’

The drama between Cameron Bure and Siwa all started late last month when the teenager posted a video on TikTok showing her flashing photos of celebrities who met the criteria of such subjects as the ‘nicest’, ‘coolest’, and her ‘celebrity crush.’

When she came the ‘rudest’ celebrity she had ever met, Siwa quickly turned her phone to reveal a photo of Cameron Bure on the set of Fuller House.

The actress responded to Siwa’s claim in her own Instagram video, sharing that she was ‘shocked’ and ‘had no idea where it came from.’

‘I immediately tried to reach out to her through mutual friends, and my publicist contacted her manager, and I DM’d her because I didn’t know what happened — I didn’t know!’ she said, before revealing that she finally did get to talk directly to Siwa.

‘And we had a great conversation,’ Cameron Bure explained. ‘She was like, “Hey, how you doin’?” I said, “Well, I’ve been better, what happened?”‘

Siwa reportedly told Cameron Bure she didn’t think her ‘silly TikTok trend’ video was going to go viral, and that she ‘didn’t think it was a big deal.’

Cameron Bure corrected her and said it ‘was a big deal,” and asked what she did to her.

According to the Nebraska native, Cameron Bure was rude to her at a Fuller House red carpet when the singer was 11 years old. ‘It was at the afterparty that she didn’t wanna take a picture with me, and I was OK with that,’ Siwa shared. ‘But then I turned around, and when I looked back, she was taking pictures with other kids.’

The former co-host of The View maintained she only remembers ‘we met at The Kelly Clarkson Show, and that went really great.’

‘Yeah! It was really great! the teen replied. ‘You were super nice and all of that,”‘ Cameron Bure remembered of the exchange.

Cameron Bure proceeded to apologize to Siwa for telling her ‘not right now’ when she had asked to get a photo, and that she felt ‘crummy’ over breaking her young heart at the time.

 In the wake of the social media feud, Cameron Bure’s daughter came out in support of her mother.

‘Respectfully, someone saying “no” to taking a photo with you is not a “rough experience,”‘ Natasha Bure wrote via Instagram Story last month, adding, ‘This generation is so sensitive and has no backbone.’
