True Life Story: Man Questions His Wife After Painful Secret Revealed

My wife of eight years, the mother of my three lovely children is my best friend, I cannot imagine my life without her. So, you can imagine the shock I am going through right now…I have never doubted my wife for one minute since we dated and got married but right now…there is an issue. The issue started last week.

My wife’s best friend and my wife have been friends since our secondary school days. They were both in the same boarding school. They are so close, that everyone thinks they are sisters. When I was dating my wife, Doris (not her real name), her friend Ivy was always there for both of us. When we quarreled or needed advice. Ivy is my twin godmother. Every secret in my marriage, I am sure Ivy is aware cos she and my wife are gist and gossip partners too.
So Ivy was at our house last Saturday. Spent most of the day with us. I and the kids decided not to bother mummy since her friend was around and they wanted to have some girl time. Ivy’s son was with us that day. We all had lunch together and I went to watch a movie on my laptop while the kids were watching TV in the living room. My wife and Ivy went to the guest room to talk…I knew the gist must be hot and I knew my wife will gist me later, so I left both of them alone.
Well, I was watching my movie but one of my wife’s customers called to say they have been trying to get my wife but she was not picking up. And this customer is a bug one. My wife is into import of luxury goods and her customers are a big-time client. My no is also on my wife’s website, so am sure that is how the customer got my no. So, I took the phone to go give to my wife but I was very quiet walking to the guest room to my wife cos I thought I would prank them.
So I tip-toed to the room and opened the door very quietly….and when I got inside….what I saw made me almost lose my speech. My wife and Ivy were engaged in kissing and fingering sexual acts. They were moaning and their eyes closed….they did not even notice me….I could barely mutter my wife’s name….Dorcas….what are you doing? She opened her eyes and then both of them became aware of me being in their presence. They jumped and started to behave weirdly.

Then I left both of them and back to my room. My wife ran after me and she started trying to explain….that they were just fooling around, and that what I saw was not real. I asked her to tell Ivy to leave my house and never come back. Ivy and her son left. My wife kept explaining but I could not respond to her cos I was afraid to ask her the only important question, which is: so you are a lesbian?
Other questions I wanted to ask, I already knew the answer….and that is how long they have been doing this….of course, must have been since college cos they have been that close. And yet, these two women are married to men and have children and they have been lovers right under our noses…..I held my head and it felt like it was going to explode. I took my car keys and drove off. I spent the night in a hotel that day. My wife kept calling and begging me to her.

The next day, I came home and my wife continued to beg me. I asked her why she deceived me to marry a lesbian and she kept saying she is not a lesbian, that Ivy is the one that is a lesbian. And Ivy has a crush on her but they have never done anything until that day when I saw them. She said, Ivy was just playing with her and she got carried away. That she cannot lie to me. She began to swear with the children and I told her to stop it.
This whole situation is messing with my head….like it’s making me feel I do not know the woman I call my wife….I have trust issues now…I can’t even imagine my wife cheating with another man talkless of a woman. I feel she is not telling me the entire truth….cos for Ivy to have been her best friend of over 30 years, she has been close….then they must be lovers….so in that case….who am I to my wife….am I just a disguise for her real self? Maybe I and Ivy’s husband are just a cover-up or sperm donor to these lesbians to have children.
I have raged and vented to God and my wife….I have not been able to look her in the eyes….talkless of touching her. My heart is broken ….my wife thinks we need counseling to save our marriage…but for the most…will counseling change the fact that I caught my wife and her best friend of 30 years having s3x in my own house? How do I reconcile with the fact that the mother of my children is a lesbian?
My wife keeps denying that she is a lesbian….but I don’t believe her one bit…and even the truth ….I do not think I can handle it. How do I move forward without losing my wife, the love of my life….this is so not fair…why why why…why did I fall in love with such a woman…was everything about our marriage a liar? I need help and advice to know what to do next.
