NG Cares is a program run by the Nigerian government to help those affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The name NG Cares stands for National COVID-19 Action, Recovery, and Economic Stimulus

The NG-CARES program is part of the Nigerian government’s plan to fix their economy. Its goal is to help the government deal with the COVID-19 crisis by helping poor and vulnerable households get back on their feet and supporting small businesses in the country. This is all being done to help the country recover from the pandemic.

NG Cares Application Portal For Registration for Nigerians

You may be aware of the NG Cares program, which is a government initiative to address the issues caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. The full name of the program is National COVID-19 Action, Recovery, and Economic Stimulus.

NG CARES is a federal initiative to help Nigerians affected by the Covid19 pandemic, it continues the recovery of the national Covid19 action and economic stimulus.

NG Cares Application

The management wishes to inform the general public that NG-CARES (COVID-19 Action Recovery and Economic Stimulus) is now open for registration.

The World Bank is the main sponsor of the Nigerian government to support this initiative. Because they are using the so-called subsidies. The ‘World Bank Grant’ is worth seven hundred and fifty million US dollars ($750,000,000) to provide immediate assistance to those affected.

This program will be effective for a period of two (2) years from 2021 to 2023. Each federation will receive $20 million ($20,000,000) for two years, excluding the FCT, from June 30, 2017. A total of $15 million ($15,000,000) will be awarded in 2021, while another $15 million ($15,000,000) will be awarded to federal care assistance.

Expectations from targeted businesses

Micro Business: Any Small Business who want to be beneficiaries of this project There should be at least three to nine employees (3-9).
Small Business: Small businesses that wish to benefit from NG Cares must have at least ten to fifty (10-50) employees/employees.

Documents required for NG Care Application Registration;

BVN printout which must be stamped by the applicants bank,
Proof of Business Operations i.e Cash book, bank statement of account, etc,
CAC registration or TIN (To find out business ownership),
Evidence of accurate age (using Either Voters Card, NIN, or Driver’s license),
Means of Identification (Voters Card, NIN, or Driver’s license),
Means to confirm residence (Voter’s card or utility bill).

Key note:

NG-Care is a federal and work bank scheme
It was set up to help alleviate high levels of poverty and access to wealth as a result of the Kovid-19 epidemic.
About 50 750 million has been provided by the World Bank.
The central government will play a monitoring role.
The state has to implement the use of funds as they are to find the weakest people at the grassroots level.
Various states have opened their portals for this purpose.

The procedures to be followed in applying are very simple, as the application form has already being shared with the following persons;

Community CDC chairman.
Agents of NG CARES.
Community women leaders.
Community youth president.

Successful beneficiaries will be reached by a text message for a scheduled count.
Approval will be given after verification
