Myleene Klass sparkles in a gold gown as she graces the red carpet at the BAFTA Cymru Awards

Myleene Klass put on a glamorous display as she graced the red carpet at the BAFTA Cymru Awards in Cardiff on Sunday.

The television personality, 44, looked incredible in a gorgeous gold gown which hugged every inch of her fantastic figure.

BAFTA Cymru is the Welsh branch of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts and honours work in front of and behind the camera.

The slinky frock featured an asymmetrical neckline, pleated skirt as well as a belt at Myleene’s trim waist and caught the attention of cameras as she arrived at the St David’s Hall event.

The stunner opted for a radiant make-up palette while styling her brunette locks poker straight.

She accessorised with large gold earrings and a dazzling designer watch while completing the look with a pair of towering black platform heels.

Elsewhere Rings Of Power star Morfydd Clarke looked nothing short of sensational as she posed up a storm for cameras.

The actress, 33, who was raised in the city, slipped into a chic black gown for the occasion as she joined newest Doctor Who Ncuti Gatwa.

Morfydd’s velvet dress featured a sculptured bodice as well as a princess skirt which she teamed with a pair of diamond earrings.

She opted for a dewey make-up look complete with a slick of pillar box red lipstick.

Morfydd let her blonde tresses cascade down her back in a natural wave as she posed inside the venue.

Meanwhile Ncuti, 29, who will take on the role of the famous Time Lord next year, cut a dapper figure in a navy and black suit.

He layered the jacket over a crisp white shirt the actor completed the look with a selection of gold jewellery.

It’s A Sin’s Callum Scott Howells also made an appearance and showcased his unique sense of style at the swanky ceremony.

The Welsh actor donned a quirky ruched jacket which he wore with pinstripe trousers and a rope belt.

It comes after Jodie Whittaker‘s final farewell as Doctor Who‘s iconic Time Lord has been teased via the show’s social media with a brand new trailer.

It was also revealed that the long-awaited episode, dubbed Power Of The Doctor, will be released on October 23rd – meaning fans will only have to wait a matter of weeks to watch the dramatic finale.

The actress is set to bow out of the BBC sci-fi drama next month in the centenary special, after five years as the 13th, and first female Doctor.

Teasing the episode previously, Jodie explained to Empire Magazine: ‘It’s got all the iconic things that you associate with Doctor Who. It’s massive.’

And speaking on her looming departure from the screen, she admitted: ‘I cannot talk about it without crying. When I could see the crew was happy with that last shot, that’s when my bottom lip started going.

‘I was like “Well, they can’t say they need another take now because I’ve lost it!”‘ she jested.

Jodie’s role will be taken over by Sex Education actor Ncuti Gatwa, as screenwriter Russell T. Davies also returns to the show.

Ncuti is set to be the first black doctor in the show’s history, once again marking a milestone for the long running BBC series.

And during his run, the show will celebrate it’s 60th anniversary in 2023 – which will see the return of the beloved 10th doctor, David Tennant, who will appear alongside Catherine Tate.
