Reveal Person Backing Atiku In Presidency, Tinubu Group Tells Wike
The Tinubu-Shettima Ambassadors (TSA) has asked Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State to reveal the name of the presidential aide backing the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar.
Naija News recalls that Wike had alleged that Atiku and the National Chairman of the PDP, Senator Iyorchia Ayu, are arrogant because someone in the presidency is backing them.
Speaking last Thursday in Port Harcourt, Wike said Ayu refused to honour his promise to resign because he was banking on the presidential backing.
The Rivers governor, however, promised to reveal the identity of the person in the Presidency backing Atiku and Ayu.
Speaking with reporters on Sunday, the Director General of TSA, Oyelude Oladele, asked Wike to expose the mole in the presidency supporting both Atiku and Ayu.
Oladele said it was unfortunate that a member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the presidency could be backing Atiku without considering the interest of the ruling party.
He described Wike as a genuine agitator for national equity and justice that Nigerians must respect, stressing that Nigerians must reject the PDP and its presidential flagbearer.

The governor later sent an apology to the Catholics over his statement, stressing that he was misquoted and his statement was misconstrued.
Seeking the approval of the church, Lalong who was at the Bishop’s Court Shendam together with Deputy Speaker House of Representatives, Idris Wase, was received on behalf of the Bishop by Rev. Fr. Raymond Gofut, Vicar General, Catholic Diocese of Shendam.
Lalong, during his speech, thanked the church for their constant prayers and said he was there to appreciate the Diocese for their support and encouragement, especially after his appointment as APC’s DG.
He hoped that the Diocese would lend its support during the upcoming election.
Speaking further, Lalong praised the church for its guidance and counsel which he said had brought about peace in the nation.

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode has stated that the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, cannot be compared to Bola Tinubu, the presidential flagbearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
He stated that comparing both men is like comparing Don Perignon to ogogoro or Cristal champagne to what the people of the Niger Delta call ‘sepe’.
Naija News reports that Fani-Kayode stated this in an article titled, “The Obidients, the Jagaban and the Icarus Syndrome.”
According to him, those comparing the presidential candidate of the APC to the Labour Party are unserious.
Fani-Kayode claimed that Peter Obi was still a trader selling tomato ketchup and Bournvita in 1999 when Tinubu paid his dues and was already running for the Governorship of Lagos State.
