The Central Bank of Nigeria has taken great steps to reduce the rising rate of unemployment in the country. This ₦500M grant aims to empower graduates and undergraduates.
This grant has been developed in collaboration with universities and polytechnics in Nigeria.
CBN TIES Loan Application Portal Login
The Central Bank of Nigeria is helping undergraduates and graduates of universities and polytechnics to start businesses of their choice through a CBN ₦500M grant.
CBN TIES Loan Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian
- Must be graduate from a recognized university or polytechnic
- Must possess first degree certificate or higher national diploma or it’s equivalent
- Must have completed the National youth services corp
- Must not be more than 7 years of of post-NYSC
- Must have a certificate of participation issued by a university or polytechnic as evidence of entrepreneurship training.
How to Apply CBN TIES ₦500M Grant
- First visit to official portal cbnties.com.ng
- Click on “Apply Now “ link available at top menu bar
- Read guidelines for Tertiary Institutions Entrepreneurship Scheme (TIES)
- Click on “Proceed” button
- Now there is a form in front of you – TIES Term Loan Pre-Qualification
Select Loan Type:
- Tier 2 – Small Company / Enterprise
Description:
- For Partnerships registered either as Limited Liability Companies and Small Companies as defined by CAMA
Tenor:
Loan Limit:
Interest Rate:
- 5% from now to February 2023 (and 9% from March 2023)
Moratorium:
- Maximum of 12 months (dependent on type of business)
Or Select Loan Type:
- Tier 1 – Sole Proprietorship
Description:
- For sole proprietorship businesses, limited liability companies and small companies as defined by CAMA
Tenor:
Loan Limit:
Interest Rate:
- 5% from now to February 2023 ( and 9% from March 2023)
Moratorium:
- Maximum of 12 months (dependent on type of business)
