I’m A Celebrity 2021 – EastEnders’ Adam Woodyatt & Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson FINALLY enter camp
EASTENDERS star Adam Woodyatt and Coronation Street’s Simon Gregson have finally made their first appearance on I’m A Celebrity.
The two soap star legends will meet the rest of the celebs during tomorrow night’s show.
Fans of the ITV programme are over the moon that they’re finally going to head into camp.
It comes after viewers were disappointed with how Naughty Boy reacted to the main camp tonight moments before Richard Madeley took on the latest trial.
Last night the music producer, 36, threatened to leave the ITV show after they picked him to go up against Snoochie Shy in the trial.
He snapped at the rest of his campmates over at The Clink and explained that he thought they picked him because he’s the “weakest link”.
Naughty Boy told Arlene Phillips, Richard Madeley, Danny Miller and David Ginola that he wouldn’t have been able to integrate into the camp with them, and wanted to leave.
But he slept on it and felt much better about the situation.
When he later came face-to-face with the rest of the celebs, he brushed off how he felt.
Moments later Richard took on the latest challenge and only managed to get four stars.
I’m A Celebrity has been shaken by accusations over stars receiving hot water, cigarettes and heating, despite portraying them living in ‘gruelling’ living conditions.
The revelations come after producers had promised this year’s series in North Wales would be the “toughest” so far for stars.
But, to the disappointment of I’m A Celeb fans, it turns out the cossetted stars have a heated Portakabin where they can wait as they prepare for trials, as well as being supplied with packs of cigarettes.
Producers said the VIPs have to manually pump a device to reach a certain pressure for the boiler to work. In reality, it can be turned on with the flick of a switch.
And, it turns out that a source also said that: “They are allowed some cigarettes… there’s a pretty good supply,” even saying that “Naughty Boy has been smoking too.”

The soap star said: “Why have I finally said yes? Because I am not in EastEnders! That is the honest answer. I am not in contract with the BBC so I can come and do it.
“Everyone thinks I am Ian Beale and so it’s going to be great to show I am not.”

The actor confessed: “It would be a really big achievement as it is such a big show.
“It is quite an accolade to go all the way to the end and it would be great for my kids. They would love it and it would be brownie points at school for them!”

He explained: “I think people think you are in a huge celebrity bubble when you work on a soap but that is not the case at all.
“It will be nice for them to see me as a normal man but also, there isn’t much difference between the character and myself as I kind of injected myself into the character I play!”

“We haven’t had any contact for the last few days and me and Emma speak to each other every 10 minutes even if we’re not together. That’s going to be really hard.”

Talking about the challenges facing him, Simon said: “I just hope there’s not too much physical activity stuff. I used to be very fit, now I’m just very fat.
“Hopefully I’ll bring something to the table, you never know.”

Speaking to The Sun from isolation before joining I’m A Celeb Simon said: “It is a bit of a hard schlep to do because of course the food isn’t great – rice and beans all the time.
“But for me it’s a bonus. I desperately need to lose weight so I’m looking at it like the worst boot camp in the world.”
