Conor McGregor carries his daughter during the christening of his son Rían at The Vatican in Rome
Conor McGregor was every inch the doting dad on Saturday as he was spotted carrying his sleeping daughter out of the church following his newborn son Rían’s christening at St. Peter’s Basilica in The Vatican.
The MMA fighter, 33, cut a dapper figure as he carefully cradled his little girl Croia, two, who looked adorable in a yellow and black dress.
Ahead of the event, the star was seen fuelling up on coffee as he jumped into his car flanked by minders and fans.
The McGregor family were said to have arrived the Vatican via minibuses in the early afternoon through an internal door that leads directly to the Choir Chapel, where baptisms can take place inside St. Peter’s Basilica.
At the church, Conor looked sharp, teaming his three-piece navy suit with a crisp white shirt and polka dot blue tie, teaming this with brown shoes.
Securing a christening at the Vatican can be a lengthy process, with hopefuls likely having to contact their local Bishop or the St Peter’s Basilica Parish office. Parents will then need permission from their parish priest to have the baptism outside their parish, and sponsor certificates will also be needed.
