Partially fulfilling the promise of federal government empowerment for all Nigerian youth and citizens, the federal government, through the Federal Ministry of Youth and Sports Development, recently announced other Nigerian empowerment programs.

Therefore, today we will discuss the three empowerment programs approved by the federal government and their requirements.

These are the 3 Programmes By the Federal Government:

In the wake of the recent economic crisis in the country, the Nigerian federal government, led by His Excellency Muhammadu Buhari, has fulfilled several promises of empowerment programs for Nigerian graduates and entrepreneurs to reduce high levels of unemployment and poverty in the country.

Therefore, today we are going to discuss three major Empowerment programmes approved by the Federal Government this year.

1. NPower:

This is a government-approved empowerment plan that has been in force since 2016. The current government led by Maharashtra Mohammed Buhari has approved to help Nigerian youth and alumni in the country to reduce unemployment and poverty in the country. However, the management of N Power Batch C has recently opened a portal for another party of applicants. The verification process of Power Batch  C is in progress, so applicants who are included in the verification exercise list must visit the official website for biometric registration at https://nasims.gov.ng.

2. SEIFAC:

Variety Cooperation for Small Farmers of Economic Interests (SAFAC) is another empowerment scheme developed by the federal government to support all farmers in the country by providing loans to interested farmers. The registration process is ongoing, so applicants must go to the local office of SAFAC at their local government place of origin to register.

3. Nigeria Youth Investment Fund (NYIF):

This is another government initiative aimed at empowering young Nigerian entrepreneurs with business ideas and enthusiasm to start or improve an existing business. However, more than 5,000 applicants have benefited from this empowerment program. NYIF, in partnership with the Central Bank of Nigeria and NIRSAL Microfinance Bank, is a federal government-approved empowerment program that provides loans to Nigerian youth to start their own businesses.

As a result, the program described above is still limited. So I urge all Nigerians to try anything if the program will help reduce unemployment and poverty in the country.
